It's the Christmas/New Year season and I work in retail. In the northern part of Ireland. When I finally claw my way, bloodied and frantic, out of the mass of vulture-customers picking the bones of the Ghost of Christmas Past, and reach home, and realise I'm living on land that the Queen of England can legally take away from me at any time cause some Normans killed a bunch of my people in 1169, I like to have a tipple. If that makes me a drunkard then so be it, because I feel I've earned the right to be a drunkard.
Also, beer is delicious.
