Chinese Auction site, <a href="http://www.taobao.com" target="_blank">Taobao.com</a> has two auctions right now for Minicons that are supposedly part of the Botcon '08 souvenir sets. Both figures are repaints from the Predator Attack Team, which makes sense, to go with previously revealed Razorclaw.

I don't care how rare or collectable they'll be but any version of the Classics Minicons need to be burned.

There where a couple good ones(monster truck and General Lee) but they realy where the pinical of suckitude!

Rampage is a repaint? If it is all they did is darken the orange...

I like the classics mini-cons. Its just that after a while repaints get redundant.

I agree 100% with Liege Evilmus on the suck factor of most of the classic min-cons.

Yup, classics Mini-Cons suck.
My friend hates them cause he got back into Transformers during Energon when the Mini-cons all starting sucking. But he totally hates them because of the Classics ones.
Though Gravedigger and General lee were cool.

I think some of you expect too much out of these things most of the time. "What!?!? It doesn't have the complexity and range of motion of a deluxe? It must be teh suxor!"

I'll give you Swoop with his stubby little hands, but most of these were cool because they were different.

I thought they were pretty good for the most part. Hell, I was burglarized last fall and oddly enough, the Classics minicons were some of the only Transformers taken. Even the evil that roams the land appreciates a good minicon. :twisted:

I think the Decepticons are gonna get their asses handed to them. More minicons=more meh.

I think they should have gone with Ravage and Lazerbeak.

That would make sense, especially if the point was to replicate as much of the original groups as was possible. I know that Grimlock and Blur and Riccochet weren't on the Ark, but all the others were Season 1 characters, so Ravage and Laserbeak may have made more sense in that regard. But that Razorclaw minicon was originally pretty Ravage-esque, and that may be why they had to repaint it so that it was substantially different from the original version of the toy.

What like about these is, judging from the comic preview, these guys aren't Mini-cons but Predacons. Giving people the scale they look for.
That's if I interpreted it right. Also I liked these minicons. They were the only Classics Mini-con set I bought out of the ones offered.
