Hmm, he seems to have "MMC Predcacon Beast Mode Syndrome"- his beast mode aft is basically a block made from his robot legs with beast legs haphazardly bolted onto the sides.

I like the neck setup thoug. Looks like there's a lot of room for posing there.

Alt mode reminds me a lot of the negative aspects of UT's Predacons. Something about the arms and legs just doesn't sit right with me. I thought their Blot looked great and didn't suffer the same visual issues, but maybe I need to look at it again.

Sinnertwin certainly seems to be the weakest so far, but maybe they're saving the 'good' engineering for Hun-Gurr due to similar alt modes?

Idk, there are times I feel I'll regret not picking these up and other times when I feel justified in drawing the line... guess time will tell, but so far it's a reluctant pass with hopes for other 3rds to tackle Abominus.

I'm passing with no reservations... sure, UT has come a long way, but there are still some glaring design choices that make me hesitant to touch this combiner.

As great as Troll looks, and as much as the Hell Boy mode appeals to me, it's got issues. The beast legs couldn't fold into the robot legs? The 'foot' can't connect to the center of the back? No opening beast mouth?

Sinnertwin also has design flaws I would have expected to be overcome by the whole Classics-reimagining. They're making a decent attempt at emulating MMC, but they're clearly not quite there yet.

When I buy UT stuff, I understand it will be flawed. I've got the Sharkies, the ManiaKing recolor, and picked up Salmoore for Black Friday. They've been getting better, but I can't justify investing in a combiner attempt... not with Combiner Wars around the corner.

This guy does look a step back from Troll i do agree , ST is one terrorcon i wanted to a have mint beast mode and i'm not blown away this . it's ok . it's not bad , just very basic. i hope there's no orange on the finished figure and that his paint apps make him pop with being a simple bot .

The robot modes look decent enough, but it certainly looks like the monster modes are suffering. The almost uniform big chests and bulky lower legs seem to be impacting on their ability to condense down when they transform. Rippersnapper and Twinstrike (sorry G1 purists, but Sinnertwin is an awkward, awkward name) look to have stupidly long bodies. I'm Terrorfied to see how bad Cutthroat is going to look.

Hoping these go on deep clearance like most UT products do.

his alt mode head really sticks up high in bot mode. strange that it wouldnt collapse more than that...

It's pretty accurate to most G1 art for him, though. But yes, I wish they'd brought it lower down like the IDW version.

I really want to like these. It's just that damn scale. If the combiner height is the same as feral rex, I would consider. But if its warbotron height Im not interested.

Not impressed in the least. Nowhere near as interesting a figure as Troll is. Plus the price points on these figs is a little steep as well.
I can easily pass on this combiner and wait for another company to have a go and see what they do.
