I love the Mania King mold & i'm buying it. I'll admit it's not perfect. if it had ball joint wrist & was leader size,this would be perfection. At best this toy seves a purpose,as it will get hasbro & other 3rd party companies intersted in making galvatron toys.

I'm hoping with TF4 having galvatron as the star villian & a voyager toy. This will make Takara create a MP TF Galvatron toy.

I think the Energon Bigger Galvatron toy is nice. Sadly it needed a whole bunch of joints in the fingers,wrist,waist,head & Swivel thighs.

Looking great ! The size is perfect. Still not seeing the big deal about the wrists, especially since he has closed fists. Its not like he has articulated hands. If the wrists were on a ball joint, what could you really do with them ? Have him hold a pistol sideways "gangsta style" ? The damn figure is 99.9% perfect. Maybe reprolabels will come up with something to make the cannon barrel more orange.

this is looking nice! wrist and head crest still bothers me. I would trim it down if I buy this. head is not perfect but I'm okay with it. Still on the fence will wait for reviews. yep

I still have minor complaints about the design, (wrists, head on bottom of the cannon, just a bit too small, just a bit too pricey) but I DO like the overall look.

Color shots are convincing me, I think I'm getting this.
I may hold off hoping for a price break, but I can find some place in my collection for him.

I guess he doesnt look that bad for the era he came out in. But he does kind of have that botcon repaint look to him. Its kind of like classics megatron with the wings. You either love him or hate him. I consider mania king to be the next hegemon. Theres gonna be a few who want something more neo, but overall G1 purists got pretty much what they have been asking for years. Minus a few minor nitpicks.

Actually, the hands are articulated. Have you seen the open hand poses?

Plus, if he were to hold a gun in hand, he would be holding it sideways, 180 degrees from "gangsta style" with palm up. Sword poses will be limited too.

Classics Generations needs leader sized toys done by Hasbro. Hopefully that leaked 30th 2014 list of Leader sized Jetfire & Leader sized Megatron creates these toys.

Somehow having Megatron,Optimus,Rodimus Prime & Galvatron the same size as other deluxes & Voyager classics toys just seems wrong. These guys need to be leader sized.

Thought People want a Voyager Galvatron because that's way too big and the deluxe one is way too small.

I'd rather have the leader characters in Voyager (or maybe Ultra) size, and have them rename the current "Leader" class to something else, and use it for big bots. Thunderwing, Sixshot, a proper Ultra Magnus (maybe...I like his bot to scale well with Optimus) Roadbuster, Jetfire, those kindsa dudes. Or combiner gift-sets maybe?

Energon Leader Galvatron was a good effort. The toy needed more articulation in the head,waist,wrist,fingers,ankles & swivels in the thighs.

i do kinda wish we could get a Galvatron capable of emulating Buzz Lightyear's Spanish mode.

I'll agree with that as well. The faction commanders are special because they are the physical embodiment of that faction's ideals. They don't need to be behemoths as well. Making them big figures would take away from those characters who are special because they are big, eg. Jetfire, Sixshot, Overlord, the Dinobots, etc., etc..

I disagree,MMC Hexatron is in the perfect leader size scale. Due to the 1987 toy being huge. While Sixshot in the cartoon was shown bigger than average.

I wouldn't say everyone wants the combiners to be bigger and bigger. At least on these forums, people (myself included) tend to be annoyed that new companies keep pushing new scales. I think the 3rd Party companies (Warbotron in particular) are making bigger combiners for the sake of saying they're making the biggest combiners.

I still do not understand your fixation on leader/G1-toy scale. I think Optimus and Megatron would be best in Voyager scale - I don't want them towering over everyone else. Hopefully Hastak will give us Classics updates to these characters soon.

Megatron & Optimus Had leader sized toys in Energon,Cybertron & the movie-verse. So some want Megatron & Optimus to have mirrored leader sized toys in Classics Generations.
