Yeah the wrist turned the proper way would have been nice also. I think the wrist turned sideways is just funny. as its looks like energon Scorponok & Cybertron scourge's sideways wrist position.
I'm going to be honest. I'm buying the toy as a place holder until something better gets released. The toy itself gets a C+.
I know deep down,Had MMC,FP or TFC taken this art design sketch & made it into a toy. It would have been leader size & had the Wrist turned the proper position. Only UT could take a amazing art design sketch like this & ruined it in physical toy form.

I think you are literally the only person who wants this thing in Leader scale. I highly, highly doubt that any company would have made this thing into a Leader scale figure.

That might be a full time job...
The more I see this, the more tempted I am to get it. I'm not overly crazy about the bot mode, but I do really like that cannon mode. And I do have to admit that I am far less critical of the bot mode now than I was at the beginning of the project. Perhaps some color helped?

Rated X wrote:I totally agree about leader class figures being a waste of time. I’m under the assumption "leader class" was created for the movie line and used for characters deemed important enough to get a huge figure. They look great on your coffee table, but aren’t really in scale with any other figures.
I still could care less about the fists. So they don’t swivel, who cares ? The wrists/fists are molded in the proper human anatomy for most poses. Granted, being able to swivel the wrists would allow for more poses. But considering most everyone will be displaying this figure with classics Cyclonus (another figure with no wrist swivel) I don’t see a big deal. It goes quite well with the figures it was made to display with. You’re not paying $115 for a figure with extreme possibility (such as MP figures) You’re paying $115 to have a properly scaled Galvatron that doesn’t transform into stupid tank or plane. I think that’s what UT was shooting for, and they pulled it off nicely.
The only thing I find annoying is all the white on the cannon tip. But there are multiple options:
• Paint it metallic orange with spray paint
• Leave it alone and call it “neo”
• E-mail Reprolabels and suggest a Mania King label set that includes orange cannon labels

I think you're assumptions about "leader class" is wrong. Didn't they made "leader class" figures in Energon/Armada/ and Cybertron.
I've still not made up my mind on the figure. I don't really want it but I see all the good points of it too. Best classics Galvatron? definitely. Funny looking Gorilla bicep curling arms? yea its still there =/ and it still bugs me. Reviews and in-hand pictures of this guy will sway me one way or another.

I started collecting in 2007 with the movie line so I have no idea if Leader class figures came out before that. I cant think of any off hand except maybe Tidal Wave and the Jetfire mold used to make Timelines Astrotrain. I dont know what class they were listed as being.
Im still not sure what everyone means by "bicep curl" or how being able to swivel the wrists will make the biceps look any different. Are people trying to say he looks like he is holding dumbells ? Call me dumb, but I just dont get the comparison. Does classics Cyclonus have a "bicep curl" too since his wrists dont swivel ? All Im seeing is normal human anatomy on this figure. The arms straighten out pretty straight in my opinion.
