Thanks to this, and possibly an engineering fault (since it always seems to happen to the same door), the cup that holds the ball part of the ball joint has cracked and split on the one side.

This means the right door can no longer be held on the figure in robot mode. Still fits in place in alt mode.


It's a right pain, I used to love this mold before this happened =| I guess I can be at least thankful for the rubber tires still being intact on all my RiD figures after all this time.

EDIT:: Had a quick check over of the figure. No yellowing, tight joints, only paint damage is a slight scuffing to the light bar centre-piece.

Nope, mine were on display at the time I noticed the crack. The plastic just isn't high enough quality on that side, or considering it seems to be a right door thing, perhaps there's a defect in the mold allowing for bubbles to form.

Who knows, but it's pretty freakin annoying.



Thinking of selling all of my RiD stuff at the moment--- The three autobot brothers, super Prowl, Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, Team Bullet Train and the Constructibots.

Would prefer to get rid of em as a set, but I'm open to ideas.

Having searched the internet and read up on them, I think I could sell both of them for £60. These two really do need to be sold as a set, you'll always want the other if you have one of them.
