My local Toys r Us had loads of Kickbacks. I'll see if they have any next time in there(saying that now they will have sold them all).

MP Sounblaster turned up with Doubledealer. Both very nice. Just pre-ordered the Convoy pens and mega drive Megs.

Still no Leaders or Voyagers down here but shed loads kiddie crap.

I'm half tempted to just order everything from Kapow given how bad distribution is

Voyager Grimlock is at Cardiff TRU, only 3 left though........

It's nice heading to the shops and actually being fairly confident that the figures I'm after will be there. Makes a nice change!

I also noticed TRU has the Lego Ecto 1 if anyone's interested.

Finally got AOE voyager Grimlock today from TRU Tamworth. :KREMZEEK:

He wasn't even on the shelf and I had to persuade a member of staff to check the stock room after being told all they're TF merchandise was already on display. >:oP

Popped into the Entertainer today in the hopes they'd have some pre-AOE stuff on discount, managed to get Commander Predaking (who is nice to have for the character and alright in robot mode but a bit daft looking as a dragon) and BH Optimus (who is fantastic though a bit awkward to get the front end together in a way which both looks right and rolls properly), along with an Ace Steve, who's ace

Went then down to TRU and realised I'm not hyped enough about Evasion Prime to get him for £25 unfortunately-and Scorn, the one I was really after, was all sold out, as were nearly all of the Generations AOE Deluxes, I could only find a couple of Bees and a Crosshairs at the back of a peg behind some power attackers...
However I did get myself another Legion Air Steve, just so I have a round number of Steves at 1 Ace, 2 Air, and 1 Regular, and also FOC Air Raid. Must say he has a truly majestic colour scheme and, with his various weapon options and super neat transformation, is an absolute blast of a toy-just wish I also had the Shockwave version of the mold!

I saw you AP!!!

I also went to TRU and picked up Evasion Prime and Grimlock, and my goodness they are good. Grimlock has a really nice feel to him, like some of the older figures with thicker plastics and tight joints (apart from his crotchflap, which flops around like nobody's business), and Prime is just gorgeous.

I didn't see ANY deluxes knocking around, so I'm glad I got the entire wave when I did.

Hopefully wave 2 will hit soon anyway. Going by previous lines, we usually get wave 2 about a month after wave 1, but in small amounts, and then we get tons of it and all subsequent waves end up being pretty rare...

Ive just read the everyones posts on this page in the voices of very quiant, quite polite and somewhat surprised English Gentlemen-style voices.
Makes for a fun read if you imagine everyone as 'bots n 'cons in a tea shoppe too! :))

I'm not surprised-I had to hunt a bit for the couple that I spotted, and unfortunately I'm not really after either-Scorn and Strafe are currently my only real must-buy dinobots to be honest. I'll probably bite on a Slug (gross) if I manage to get those two, whilst Slash is a probable pass, along with Slog-Snarl I might get but we've not seen much of him yet. Unfortunately neither the leader nor voyager Grimlock seem quite right enough for me to get, at least not at full price.

What ho chaps, just checking in. Tesco have finally reduced some stuff so I got Vertebreak for £8.50, Construct Bots Megatron £7.50, Construct Bot Slug with a £10 voucher and at long last the Prime/Predaking Cyberverse two-pack for £10 (couldn't resist those colours). They don't let go of profit easily though, the clearance section had Dinobot Riders 'reduced' from £6.99 to £8 :HEADHURTS:

Finally!

My local Morrisons has sold out of Wave 2 Kreo Micro changers and replaced them with Wave 3!

Good news!

Annoyingly I missed them putting them out and as such I only managed to get 6/12 but I did buy all they had because I like to have 2 of each

I think I got Thrust, Ramjet (Seekers complete

), Kick Back, Huffer, Nemesis Prime and Beachcomber. I have doubles of Nemesis, Ramjet, Thrust and... I cant remember who the other one was! I'm going to head back an try and complete my set, assuming they get more in.

Wave 5 has hit smyths stores, so it seems they skipped wave 4. No recorded sightings.
I emailed hasbro uk's customer service about it but obviously recieved no reply.

I ordered the whole of wave 4 and menasor online, but I can't find computron anywhere. Does anybody know where I can get him?

I don't have a smyths near me either, would someone be willing to middleman them to me for retail plus shipping?

Evasion Prime was finally delivered! A great figure. Love the look of it, hope Reprolabels can improve it. Love the transformation, the one step leg/foot thing is great.

TRU Norwich still has a fair few Grimlock and Prime Voyagers, plus deluxes. Scorn seems to be dwindling though. I can't keep track of all the Kre-O stuff, but there's a lot of it.

Morning all.

Once again Hasbro Giveth and then Taketh away.

I just got a stock alert from Toys R Us saying that Masterpiece Prowl has been "Discontinued on toysrus.co.uk".

That sucks. I mean £59.99 was pretty ridiculous to pay anyway considering you can get it cheaper from Japan (My Streak cost be £40 ish from there including shipping!).

I know we spend too much time moaning about how Hasbro has a tendency to mess us up on things like this... but lets have a quick look at the Masterpiece history in the UK.

- MP01 - Prime - got it but much later and Hasbroficated
- MP02 - Ultra Magnus - no release
- MP03 - Starscream - no release of original version - no release of Hasbro repaint
- MP04 - Primes Trailer - no release
- MP05 - Megatron - no release
- MP06 - Skywarp - got it but much later and Hasbroficated
- MP07 - Thundercracker - no release of original version - no release of Hasbro repaint - may have been listed and then cancelled
- MP08 - Grimlock - got it but much later and Hasbroficated

- MP10 - Prime MK2 - got it but much later and Hasbroficated *Start of Masterpiece GOLDEN AGE*
- MP11 - Starscream MK2 - no release

- MP17 - Prowl - was listed and then cancelled

I can see why we don't get every one of them, or every repaint, but those that we do get seem pretty random (Acid Storm?!?!?!) I honestly believe that the decision to release that ridiculous YotD Giant Starscream - which has shelfwarmed and dropped in price at least once - a figure that never really sold well when it was originally released at half the price - I think Hasbro has seen the bad sales of that figure and decided to not go ahead with some other high end figures as a result.

Acid Storm dropped by nearly half price due to shelf warming - I only even picked it up because it was nearly half price and my Mrs was bugging me to get me something for Christmas. I can see Grinlock still getting (another ) release purely off of the back of AoE. But poor prowl and I imagine future secondary characters will not see a release.

Sad times.

All my own reckoning of course.

I don't think it's the price, I mean sure it was expensive, but I don't see that stopping Hasbro Uk from selling it. I mean The Grimlock Reissue is £99.99 on the toys r us website compared with the $59.99 it came out in the states at (although that did go up to $79.99, but still that is nearly £50 cheaper)

Hasbro only seem to mind if they think it will shelf warm, and then only after releasing a bunch of shelf warmers. MP Prowl should be £39.99. I was happy to pay £59.99 for 2 reasons, 1 - I am lazy and easily being able to pick something up from toys r us seems like a good option. 2 - I believe that if you want more good stuff over here, we actually have to buy what they offer us to encourage them to put more out. Prove the Hasbro UK that us fans and collectors arent just going to import stuff all the time.

That said, with the exception of the AoE toys ALL my recent purchases have been imported (MP Streak, MP Sideswipe, MP Smokescreen (no Prowl you notice...) Generations Whirl, Springer, Rhinox and Blitzwing). My Smokescreen turned up today (eBayed it off of a guy who had unfortunately had to sell his collection, got Sideswipe off him to. Not KO's

) and I gotta say the Prowl news was quite depressing. I was even gonna order another set of Launchers for him

For the record, would the Prowl cancellation constitute news? I mean if repaint AoE legends appearing in shops is frontpaged... just saying...
