Derby Smyths raided, successfully obtained CW Silverbolt, all 4 deluxes and legends Powerglide. Several primes left and some of the other legends figures.

i very well may have missed it as ive only been back on the scene for a week or so, have they said when the 5th aerialbot is coming out? Is it with wave 2? Find it kinda odd we get 4 and 1 stunticon.

cool. Had to do a bit of research ect to find out what happened with Alpha Bravo ect as id never heard of him. Looks like an easy repaint for blades/vortex down the road so maybe that whats behind it, but it all comes from the comics right?

Combiner Wars Deluxes and Legends have hit Smyths Bury.

Snagged Alpha Bravo, I'll post some decent pics after I finish work. Didn't see any Bombshells or Dragstrips.

Just got back from the Oldbury store. Aside from Op and Silverbolt,(who were there last week) all they had was one Legends Thundercracker....I'm guessing he was the lone survivor and I was late to the battle...

No Deluxes. But there was a suspiciously empty peg...

Yeah, the Aerialbots get damaged, two new volunteers are found for the Superion/Combiner project - Alpha Bravo and Powerglide. It's about two-three panels in total, Transformers exRID #33.

Cheers yeah, thats what id found out.

As for the comics yeah, i havent picked one up since megatron origins other than the odd one off. Will be tracking them all down come the new year

Photos as promised, sorry about the quality of some of them, the best I could do with poor lighting.

Nice bot mode, I like how he can use the foot/hand as a weapon.

Helicopter mode is also nice, very clean and hardly any kibble.

I also like the weapon storage on him, haven't seen that mentioned anywhere else.

Not so sure about him as a leg, those rotor blades don't tab away at all, and just kind of flap around.

I personally think he works much better as an arm, the rotor blades are less conspicuous this way.

All in all a very good figure, I don't mind this guy replacing Slingshot as the deco is a direct homage to G1 Slingshot, both modes are pretty solid and the transformation is pretty satisfying. The only issue I have with the figure is the way the rotor blades flop around in bot and limb, if only they could tab into the tail section this guy would be perfect.

Yesterday's combined haul of both Ramrider and Myself from the Derby Smyths.
The fully limbed Superion (with Powerglide gun) is my haul, while Ramrider got both Voyagers, the 3/4 deluxes and Legends Bombshell and Thundercraker.
As you can see we had fun trying to link everything together!

Picked up Legends Bombshell at the Smyths in Rayleigh. No sign of the CW Deluxe figures or even empty pegs so maybe they haven't arrived yet?

If its anything like years past they wont want the pegs empty so they'll just be throwing anything at them as soon as they are empty. Thats how the Telford one works this time of year.

Unless I'm mistaken it's a little grey and orange turtle Arms Micron- I believe it's one of the ones that was sold individually rather than with a figure, but it's name escapes me

I'm going to take a drive down to my local Smyths store in the morning, about a 15 minutes away. I need to do a bit of food shopping and it's the perfect excuse as there's a big Tesco around the corner. Got roughly 40 quid burning a hole in my pocket, so I'm hoping to pick up Silverbolt and an Aerialbot Deluxe or a couple of Legends (Bombshell and Powerglide, hopefully).

I checked out Speke (South Liverpool) Smyths on Saturday. I bagged Squarimus Prime, which is Voyagers and Deluxes complete for me now. He was the last of combiner wars left on the shelves, and the shop was absolutely heaving.

I just need the legends stuff now. I'm gonna take a bath on thundercracker, but I need Bombshell, Powerglide and Windcharger in my life. I'll have to wait until pay day in January now. :< From the looks of earlier posts in the thread Speke's manager said they might not be getting the legends figures there, so I might need somebody to hook me up with these guys.

At the risk of going a little off topic (sorry Va'al) most people are theorising that Hasbro thought a wave full of jets would be a difficult sell, as there's a lack of variety. So instead we got 1 helicopter, 2 jets and an F1 car.

Alpha Bravo is more of a re-imagining of Slingshot than anything, but the comics saw the opportunity to write him in an went with it.

He's actually a brilliant little figure, looks as though he he's a retool away from Blades and Blastoff, and a straight repaint away from being Vortex as well, so it makes sense for hasbro in terms of keeping costs down on mould development.

Nice and chunky and sturdy. The slots are all spring loaded, so there's nothing falling out once it's in. It's easy enough to pull them back out once they're in too, doesn't feel like you risk breaking anything on disconnection no matter how rough you are with it.

Ratchet joints are all nice and deep and clicky too. Superion can get some awesome action poses and stay there unsupported.
