True! but blame Hasbro UK for not giving us Wave 2, so...until such a time that Wave 2 does come out somehow(you can always get it online or at a toyfair/Comicon that's held in the UK) then I guess we're stuck with the molds we're getting

Or, you know, Auto Assembly!

They operate their stock ordering system with time windows, and trigger amounts.
At different times of the year, they have different waves as their only stock refill options. so Dec - Feb it was wave 1, March - May it was wave 2, June to August will be wave 3 etc.
It's not cost effective for them to ship out a production run unless they're getting a certain amount of orders for refill.
If stock is shifting slower at some retail chains (asda, TRU, etc) but fast at others (the entertainer) then the ones that sold out placed their refill order when wave 2 was on the cards. Hence wave 2 appearing listed on their site as coming soon.
But they didn't receive enough orders total to trigger a production run, until *after* wave 2 had rolled over to wave 3.
hence the wave being skipped.
Everyone who wanted refill stock had to wait until there were enough orders. And the sites who'd pre-listed wave 2 promptly cancelled the listings when they recieved word that wave 2 wasn't coming.
The fact that wave 3 showed up really soon though makes me think that they weren't actually very far off wave 2 getting launched at all, but the actual amounts of extra orders that would've been needed at this point would be complete guess work.
It'd pretty much explain why for the last 3 years we got a grand total of 1 wave of the non-movie generations line.
It was TRU exclusive. Only 1 stockist in the whole of the UK was ordering, and they were shelfwarming at that stockist pretty hard. Very little refill stock was ordered. Not enough to trigger any of the waves.

Va'al... I can't make Auto Assembly again, is there any chance of a few pick ups like last year?
Hotspot seems to be everywhere now so I wont bother to report that Toys R Us Poole had an ENTIRE SHELF of him (I stopped counting after I got passed a dozen lol). I still haven't seen the new Legends figs anywhere though.

I got one of two on the shelf in Govan B&M on Saturday. £30 and shiny redness with a loose hip, could take it back but he stands ok so I'll forgive him. They had a smattering of other Generations Voyagers and a DOTM Battle Ops Bee with no price. I thought you'd got a Jetfire you were the first to mention it here.

So after last weekend when I found Streetwise at my local Argos in Bedford I made it my mission to try and complete Defensor, one way or another.
Hotspot @ Toys r Us - CHECK
Rook @ Amazon UK - CHECK
Streetwise @ Argos - CHECK
So I placed an online request via Argos for 8x Generations Deluxe figures which could only be made available to me by today. Guess they had to pull some in or where waiting for a delivery?
I received an email confirmation they where ready for collection, hoping to Primus they where not all the same figure.
I cycled across town to the large Argos on the retail park with fingers and toes crossed...
Blades @ Argos - CHECK
First Aid @ Argos - CHECK
Defensor complete!
Whilst over on the retail park I also popped my head into Toys R Us who still had CW Wave 1 in, lots of Armada/G1 Leader Megs, some Roadbusters, some Premium Starscreams, some Then&Now Optimus two-packs and three prongs full of thos little Legends Class CW Thundercracker, Warpath, Hotrod and Groove! (Plus loads of leftover AoE bits and bobs!)
I have no need for that lil Groove as I will track down the proper Deluxe once it is available on Amazon US, the same way I got my CW Air Raid!
Im hoping come the end of the month a local B&M have Brainstorm, Doubledealer and Jetfire available?
PM ME PLEASE!-

You jammy bastard! No! I didn't even know that Govan B&M had it in, coz every time I've been there....they've only had Roadbuster, Whirl & Sandstorm ect.....& sometimes none of those at all, btw where on the shelf was Jetfire? was he anywhere near the Voyager Class figures?
Knowing my luck....they'll not have any in when I next visit there! hence my haste for them mass releasing that figure in OTHER stores like Smyths, The Entertainer ect....like what happened with the Voyager Class figures.....that way I can at least get a chance of finding one......but like I said before.....I can't see that happening til nearer christmas time! but who knows....stranger things have happened at sea.
Mind you....I'm still also on the lookout for Brainstorm! & I know Govan B&M have NEVER had that figure in................YET!!!
Also
Ok....so....we're starting to get Jetfire.....so.....what's next for the Thrilling 30 Generations line at places like B&M? any chance we may see Deluxe figures come out? like Orion Pax, Tankor, Windblade, Arcee, Rattrap, Waspinator, Chromia ect. Probably won't be til next year though...If at all.

I'd love to see more of the Thrilling 30s too. The Jetfires were in the same section as the Voyagers but one shelf down and to the left.

I have a lone Dragstrip facing off against both Superion and Defensor (minus legends Groove, as I've yet to find him)

Try a Toymaster or The Entertainer.

Also spotted these at TRU in Govan, Glasgow
https://youtu.be/-qBxCRpwab8
off for a nosey at what Smyths, Entertainer, Hamleys & A1 Toys have in! I'll keep you posted of my findings
Forbidden Planet, Glasgow has Cyclonus & Hot Spot in(I guess Hot Spot is dominating most of the shelves now), as well as the big 3 step RID Optimus
Smyths, Glasgow have the RID minicon deployers in! The same ones Argos have! Drift & Fracture

Also, has anyone ever been to Sheffield comic con? Me and my eldest lad were considering going. Do they have much transformers related, especially toys? Think Lee Sullivan might be there this year.
