Anybody actully laid eyes on that overpriced chunk of plastic and electronics that no one in their right mind will buy until it is on reduced (or Ultimate Bumbles to you and me).
I hate to admit it, but i picked up Ultimate Bumblebee a couple of weeks ago. It is in no way worth 80 quid, but TRU were sold out online and there was one left in my local store (there had been 6 sitting on the shelf 3 days earlier) so i got it for fear of not finding him again.
Not worth a penny more than £50 in my opinion, and that's being generous!
Only other things i've seen recently are the Blackout & Scorponok 2 pack at an unbelievable £40. And the Nightwatch Prime, which i absolutely love!
Still searching for Bonecrusher and Swindle and i'm not going to pay the £17 each that Play.com seem to think is acceptable.

Aye, the ability to play as anyone (at least from that level) would be nice. The plod can easily be lost if your a car. Just transform and drive away quickly. Eventually they loose track of you and they dont return unless you transform and start smashing stuff. The humans I usually ignore unless they get a lucky shot and me tf staggers. Then I get angry and shoot down everything.![]()
Ironically, I do more collateral damage as the Autobots trying to minimise the carnage.
I have the PS3 version, looks fantastic. The locations, especially the bonus Cybertron level, look very nice for the most part. I feel the Dam level looks a bit bland but i guess they couldn't really do much about that.
Locking on to enemies can be a bit tricky until you get used to it. And sometimes i find myself struggling to pick up an object right in front of me.
I also think they went a little over the top with cut scenes. Those are just minor things though.
I actually enjoy Scorponoks levels. I just love the way you can dart about underground and then emerge to create carnage
Overall i really enjoyed it, i say 7.5 out of 10!

Shush, you'll be incouraging the idea that this is a sightings thread or something

Apparently it's Black Zarack in his Destron General form from Zone. Looks like a pirate to me.

Is it 08 Bumblebee for sure in the two pack? I wasn't going to bother with the Voyager OP but I might change my mind if it's 08 Bumblebee with him! The catalogue shows 74 Bumblebee so please let me know for sure if it's 08 Bumblebee!
On a seperate note I was in Poundland today and they had the knock off Robot Masters in stock. Seemed to be two different two packs in stock. Plastic looked a bit thin and paint application looked pretty poor but I think two tf's for £1 isn't too bad. They also had some kind of dinosaur transformer type thing but I was in a hurry so didn't get much chance to look properly. I'll try and have a proper look tomorrow.
Nothing new in Tru except I spotted one Voyager Starscream on the shelf. They also had more boxes of Classics Jetfire waiting to be stacked on the shelves even though he fills the shelves already!
I was in two different Asda's today and both had a very poor showing of Tf's. Seems like after their initial delivery a few weeks ago that they've had nothing new since.
Though the Starscream arm blaster seems to be rapidly filling the shelves in loads of places.
Oh yeah and I still haven't been to see the movie yet!
Ron.

It's crap.
It is a REALLY lazy converstion of the concol game, they've done virtully nothing to make it more pc friendly, hell you cant even use you mouse on menus...
I also saw something that made me laugh my arse off yesterday.
From the prople that brought you spiderman, xmen and versious superhero costumes, we now have: KIDS OPTIMUS PRIME COSTUME!
Best bit of all, the trousers, they are fricking flaires! Flaires with flames at the end of the leg!

Where is that Poundland? The one in Leeds is out of knock-offs and I'd love the Starscream KO maybe the Jetfire one as well.

Damn this plastic crack addiction. I'm low on funds as well.
Prime/BB, Barricade, Encore Soundwave.
Will this 'only one more' mentality ever end?
We need to get a support group gowing.

Gar! They won't listen. They'll avoid it if they think they can get away with it.
Maybe more drastic action is required?
Maybe a new official ODB sightings thread should be opened here. And when the mod squad come and try and close it, we can discuss with them why this forum needs moving.

Maybe you should try PMing different mods, or even the big boss man himself, maybe GD is away or something, i dont think we have exhausted the peaceful options just yet

Thanks for the info on the OP/Bumblebee two pack. I went into one of my local Argos today but the two pack was out of stock at the moment so I couldn't check myself. Hopefully they'll get it in next week!
I did however get a surprise when I saw Bonecrusher and Swindle deluxes sitting in one of the baskets near the tills!
I also got another Bumblebee poster but it's a pity it's the same as the first one. I think I read somewhere here that you weren't getting it with the deluxes but this is due to some sort of error apparently. The offer clearly states you get it when you spend £9.99 or more. I had to go to customer services where the nice lady apologised and said this was happening all the time. It must be because her and the manager almost knew the catalogue number off by heart! (387/3241!) As an extra bonus the manager reckoned it was a cool poster!
Because of this extra wait and the long queue's in Argos I didn't have time to go in by Poundland (which is in Aberdeen) but I'll try and take a look in my lunch hour tomorrow.
I did later however get into TK Maxx and they had two (now one!) of the Toyota MR2 Roadbots priced at £14.99 each.
They also had two SWTF Millenium Falcons, one priced at £19.99 and the other at £16.99!
I was also in one of my local Toymaster's today (I had a real busy day!) and as well as having a decent selection of Movie Tf's they also had four of the yellow Toyota Supra Roadbots priced at £19.99 each.
Forgot to mention yesterday I had a good look at some of the Mattel Modifighters in Woolworths.
Maybe it's thanks to the movie but there seems to be transforming robots of some kind almost everywhere you look lately!
Ron.

More surprisingly its the American version packaging with the artwork faces rather than the crappy little pictures of the figures on the front. On the back theres full tech specs in English alone. Not opened them up yet but seems like great value for £25 (particularly when their asking £40 for Blackout/Scorponok when you can get the same figures for a tenner less in the same store!!!).
