Has your KO RM Prime got the big chin thing too?

Tis a fine KO it is. It has quite strong plastic, better than the other RM KOs.

I've been meaning to get those long smokestacks. The chrome's almost all worn off the short ones.

Where'd you get em from?

And know anywhere I can get chrome paint?
His grill and fuselages could use a touch up.

I needs to get Alternator Prime still.
But I'll purchase him when he goes on sale next.
Who knows? Maybe he'll make a good cheap stocking filler at christmas. My parent's are starting to look for christmas presents now. So I plan to have em get me Movie Ironhide and Ratchet.

It had the big chin, till i got rid of it a touched up the paint on the chin, shins, crotch (yellow bits) and painting the gun and wheels black.

the only prob i had was when removing the stupid light up bit, part of a screw thread cracked, but it sat inside another part so once i git it back in there were no probs

ps: on a completely different note, who is the oldest bilge-rat on the ODB, i reckon ive got a good chance having 31 years under me belt

I hit 32 in December.

On an aside, I've been going through the KO thread and was wondering where's the best place for KO's in the UK?
I've seen a few of the Poundland RM KOs on ebay as well but that's been about it and it's kinda galling to be looking at £3-4 on postage alone for a figure that cost a quid.

I never thought of touching up RM Prime KO. That might be something for me to do when I gets a moment.

Well, I'd suggest Poundland, but you probably already know that :lol:

I don't know of any other's myself.
Home Bargains had that weird BW Megs thing in at one point, but that was a year or so ago.
Still wish I'd bought two Towlines, especially since they were only a fiver each...

Everyone's gone home now,
Left me manning the phones so I've opened Swindle and had a play with him.
Am v pleased w/ him, well worth waiting for.
Think after I get Concept BB (and maybe Leader Brawl, not sure about the clear plastic bits) this could be me for the movie line. Only disapointments have been '76 BB and the cr@p that Starscream carries around under his Alt. mode.
Not bad at all, esp. when you consider the amount of whining that people were doing this time last year....

Hey guys, my smokestacks came from this seller http://cgi6.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... =3&rows=50 I've just had a look and he's got a couple more at the moment. For £3 you really can't go wrong. They're the chromed plastic type rather than the die-cast that I've heard mentioned by others though.

It be truly amazing what a difference the longstacks be making. He looks so much better with him. Well done.

And reading that graphic novel (as it says it be on the back) 'Beginnings', it be mighty funny seeing Black Spider-Man web up Megatron. Only for him to be ripping it open right away. :lol:

especially if you havent modded it (i painted the grill, shins,crotch, arms and gun), you can tell its a KO, but a talented painter (which i aint) could make it look very good, as long as you leave it in bot mode...

Arrr, that be a fine paint job ye did there. I shall do this to mine when I get some new paints.

i just wish there was an easy way to recolour the windows, i could paint them a solid sky blue, like the G1 toon, but id probably mess it up

TBH, apart fro mthe two random holes in the grill and between the windows, that looks VERY similer to the real one. How good is the plastic?

its ok, a bit prone to cracking in the screw threads if you take it apart, but ive transformed it a few time with no problems, its good for displaying and ok for playing

Haven't posted in this forum much...or anywhere else for that matter! But just picked up Titanium Ultra Magnus, Titanium War Within Megatron and Classic Grimlock at Wilkinsons of all places! They also had Cliffjumper and Mirage.

Not sure if it's been posted before but it's at least noteworthy!

Everybody to Wilkinsons post haste! Unreleased Classics booty to be had without paying shipping or silly comic shop prices! If I can grab those three I'm only missing a proper sized Astrotrain and the Devastator set to finish Classics.

In relation to a couple of ongoing topics above, I turn 27 later this month. Party at mine! Woohoo! Actually I'll probably just be down the local river with a bunch of mates having a fire and getting drunk but if anyone was in the area it would freak my people out to have a couple of toy obsessed loonies to deal with and not just me...

And paints were mentioned above. I just found a supplier for Tamiya paints yesterday. Model Zone in the Victoria Centre in Harrogate stocks a nice broad range of colours and carries airbrushes for every wallet. Don't know if that's handy for anyone else but thought I'd give it a mention. I've spent today repainting an oversized Titanium Seeker KO into Skywarp and a second one is undercoated ready to become Starscream after I finish work tomorrow (stupid horticulture hours). I'll get some pics in natural light and post them in the kitbash forum sometime this week and here if anyone wants to see 'em.

Also Harrogate Sainsbury's was better stocked with Movie voyagers than just about anywhere that I've seen. I'm not picking up the movie line, but again if you're in the area worth a look.
