I was going to skip that arcee issue as well, but considering she looks like she goes on a complete and total kill frenzy with the likes of Magnus and Fort Max (spot his cameo in Blaster?), I think I'll pick this up.

As this is primarily a toy thread: I've relented and bid on a G1 Rumble. Or Frenzy if you want to go off the toy name. Bluebot will always be Rumble to me. £6.50 incl shipping from Edinbourugh at current.

And yes, I prefer MB too. I will always call you MB.

maximus cameo?? ill have to give it another look. i never took to frenzy in the cartoons, he was just rumble in another colour, no difference to their personalities or anything

Me neither. That's why I'm going after the Frenzy figure. It's Rumble in the toon. First we crack the shell, then we crack the nuts inside.

Yeah, supposed to be 9th May but that's not confirmed by Hasbro. I'll be getting them all but Powerglide will be the last one due to the fact I don't like the look of him as much as the others.

I suppose it's kinda the name you all grew up on here with. This is the first time I've changed my name in about a year. And it's one I definetly plan on sticking with forever.

But omg I still can't believe how badass they all look! Sure, Powerglide's different, but I loves him for it! It's a nice change.

And Prowl. OMFG don't get me started on Prowl. I expect to see four or five repaints out of that stat! I want Prowl, Bluestreak, Smokscreen, Stepper, heck even Jazz if they retool it a bit.

Beautiful mould. Really captures the G1 toy and toon appearances magnificently. Onslaught and Sunstreaker are fecking amazing too! Sunstreaker looks so much better correctly transformed! And Onslaught looks ready to kick ass!

As I said, Powerglide looks a little funkay. But I can get used to him. I love the way they've done him.

Very well - MB it shall remain.

I would hope that there would be a new mould for Jazz - I mean his legs are really different to Prowl's. Plus I think the Bluestreak and Smokescreen repaints would be enough use of the same mould for Hasbro's liking.

Yeah, I'd hope for a new mould.
Looking at the front of the car, redoing the back section would be enough. The top halves do both transform the same, and the cars seem to have similar shapes (G1 Jazz and Universe Prowl I mean).

Remaking the legs to transform like Jazz wouldn't be beyond Hasbro.

Exactly - its not like it involves changing the entire mould, just the back end.

Okay, I got outvoted on Frenzy (oh how it pains me to call him Frenzy). So I ask this opinion: £19 including the shipping for KO Frenzy and Ratbat sealed. Too much? Or about right for the KO's? I'm not sure and I see second hand casetticons going for upwards of £12 opened singly.

For KOs I would Say that it's too much. I would be looking to pay about that for the real deal.

Some people like 'em, others don't. The first TFs I bought off eBay were KOs and they're ok - my Bonecrusher has his legs on back to front and the plastic quality isn't the greatest but if you feel that an original is too expensive and quality isn't too much of an issue then you may want to consider them.
