the key to WFC (at least as an Autobot) is learning to distinguish between the dull grey of the background and the dull grey of every Decepticon ever! It was a fun game, but I really wish they'd have given the Cons a bit more pizazz
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

Aiming doesn't matter, EVERYTHING SHALL BURN!!!

I might play it when I get back to Hull tomorrow. Quite miss it, it was well fun. My only problem with it is that the aiming doesn't feel as elegant as CoD or Gears of War. But that's massively outranked by the fact it's transformers and it's awesome.

Bring on WFC 2 I say!

Are you insinuating that Hasbro UK doesn't know it's own prodcut line?

Yeah I thought about tryin some classic movie scenes (prime vs megs) but can't decide which figs to use. With me it woul have to be classics megs and classics prime, cos that's the only g1ish megatron I've got and prime would have to be in scale.
I dunno I need to think about what I can come up with.
I might try a devastator (rotf legends or energon micromaster) test next though. I like the idea of the challenge animating a combiner brings.

Postby craggy » Tue Jan 11, 2011 7:51 pm

got my 2 Kapow deliveries, yesterday, after the postman decided to try and deliver them on a Sunday at half one in the afternoon when I'd been up til 6 playing XBox.

Loving Protector, and Sidearm, from packaging on to the products themselves. Quite dislike the vagueness of the instruction book though. The comics/extended Mosaic wasn't bad at all, but I'd rather they'd posted that online and given us real instructions (as much as it's possible while showing the interaction with the Hasbro base figure). A little worried about forcing some of the pieces at first, but now I understand how it's all meant to fit together (through my own inverstigation) I love it. My Challenge At Cybertron Rodimus doesn't look half-bad with his new arms and shoes.

The Henkei Attack Team was pre-owned, but other than the blister being opened these were mint. A great deal, and some cool little guys. Yeah, they're Legends Class, I think, but they're all at least as poseable as the original versions of these characters were and have a lot of character in them.

Thunderwing is a shrunken piece of awesome. Kinda wish they'd made his head entirely out of translucent plastic and just painted it, so his mouth could glow like his eyes do, but when that's my biggest gripe about a toy, it's good.

Thrust is also pretty good, I really like the colours and his joints are all pretty tight. Dirge on the other hand...well, he feels like a KO. Plastic quality, and that his left foot doesn't fold all the way down, and had stress marks on it from being transformed once...I'm a little disappointed. Looks good, but I'll probably pose him up and leave him for a good while.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast.
