Gahhh Im up north too, other side though to you, Warrington, near Liverpool, rechecked my Asda today and nothing new, they don't even have wave 1 deluxes :S

I've rechecked at Argos a couple of weeks back and they've only restocked on wave 1

I wonder how far we'll get in this line, considering the amount of figures that just simply never made it here the past few years :/

It's not a new trend, we almost never get the last few waves of any given line. The sodding Energon combiners remain one of Hasbro's biggest cock ups when it comes to not finishing a figure set for the European market, the Constructicons and Combaticons being impossible to finish with what actually got released this side of the Pond. Where finances allow I try to get in later wave cases from BBTS so can sometimes help out with the end of line figs, keep an eye on this thread as I always offer the doubles here at or close to cost or for trade.

Yeah I remember having trouble with the Energon combiners, I could only ever find Duststorm (I think it was his name, dark blue crane) and Sledge (again think it was him, Bonecrushers green twin) on the shelves, and never had any luck finding any other combiner part from this team or any of the others :/

I think stores stock too many cases of the first few waves of figures, they never sell them all which then means they can't really order new waves in really until the older ones budge :/

I'm still seeing DOTM deluxes all over the place, nowhere here is budging them down below £10 and no one is buying them, why not put them on clearance prices £4 a pop for a deluxe, they'd easily fly off the shelves making more room for the new toys that'll get them the most money! :P

My local Tesco is the same, DotM deluxes that will never sell still at £9.72. Other Tesco stores have had them down to £3 and Sainsbury have them at a 70% mark down. Ultimately I've already bought everything from that line that I was prepared to pay anything near full price for, so I need to see some serious reductions if I'm going to even consider buying any of the pointless repaints.

Working for a Tesco Express myself I know that labels can be missed, like swapping out old prices for new ones. When the RID figures started showing up at Tesco's and people on here said there Tesco's were selling DOTM deluxes at £3 each I should have took one to the tills to check the pricing on them, but didn't think to do that at the time, by the time I got back about 2 weeks later all that was left were 4 Nitro Bumblebee's which leads me to suspect they very well may have been knocked down in price and just a new label hadn't been put in to say so, Hence them selling most of their deluxes, about 15 odd in two weeks. At £3 a piece I would have only been interested in the cooler Mech Tech weapons really, the Bot itself depending on who it would have been would have been fodder and spare parts for customs :P

Ahh okay then :P that sucks, Tesco's always hit and miss it seems

Forbidden planet have some of the newer waves due to be available 30th May on their website but the dates keep changing :/ Also I don't think this is in store, I went into the Forbidden Planet in Liverpool when the these toys started coming into Argos, and asked when they'd be getting Transformers Prime stuff in, they hadn't a clue what I was talking about and went on their computers and said it didn't show up with anything new to be coming in, been back in since and all they had were a couple of the legion class figures. I remember when I was younger, going into Forbidden Planet and there were whole sections just for transformers, all different kinds, now it's just a little section next to clearance with the same stuff that's in the entertainer on sale :/

The thing with Forbidden Planet is that it's actually two different companies with the same branding. The London store is the one with the same company as New York and the other international locations. The rest of the stores nationally are a separate company that broke away many moons ago. Hence why you find Japanese imports in London and only Hasbro offerings in the other locations.

Tesco had Cyberverse Commanders on the shelves at £5.xx (it was under £6, but not by much, IIRC) and had quite a lot of them. All wave 1.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

I am starting to wonder what happened to him, it's like he suddenly ceased to exist.

ooh. wasn't intending to visit there, but might do so now.

I'll be in London this weekend for Kapow Comic-con, and there was a bunch of TF stuff last year, but anywhere else that might be good for TFs in central London? I think there used to be a shop in Soho, many moons ago (I was about 12, I think) but I think I found the place it was last year, and it was a magazine/records/general old tat shop.

I was chatting regularly with him until he dropped from the face of the planet, I sent him some Minicons. He's even got Mrs O's mobile number because we were going to hook up in Bristol. I know he's been looking for work and goes "up north" (Leeds?) sometimes and last visited this place in February. I'm a bit concerned.

Just a quick heads up for anyone planning on giving the Cyberverse playsets a miss but wanting Knockout that I'm planning on grabbing 3 drillers in total so should have a couple of spare figures to trade at some point.

That's cool, I'm sure we can work out a deal for one. I'm troop building legion Vehicons so if you want to keep an eye out for one of those that'd work out great. First spare Knockout has your name on it anyway. It'll be next month at soonest before I get round to picking these up though so no rush. If you're going to be at AA we could save on postage?
