I'm off on holiday for a few weeks, and didn't want to miss the boat at TRU for MP Soundwave.
So... with product ref in hand (on phone) I called into my local. The guy at Customer Services was one of the guys I would normally talk to when I'm in, so he knows me from visiting the store usually twice a week lol. Anyway I explained to him about MP SW and not wanting to miss out to scalpers etc.
He mentioned an option called a Pre-sale. He also said that the manager can check the exact amount of stock etc that other TRU stores in the UK have, and only the manager has access to this feature on the system.

So to the point, I've been able to pre-pay for my TRU MP Soundwave at a store, so now I don't have to worry about missing out

Btw MP Soundwave was showing as in transit on the system today.

Listed a couple more figures, probably more toys and some comics to go up over the rest of the week as I get more stuff organised.

they have done this for quit a while. They did it with MP 10 and MP thugndercracker, but cancelled all the pre-orders before they got released(with MP Thundercracker being cancelled)

Also have a spare Rainmaker set from Botcon and Kreo botcon set Im taking to AA if any one is interested.

Picked up a Skyhigh, the Go! Samurai team, the Tesco exclusive Beast Hunters bits and Fort Max.

Been an expensive few months.

Spotted in my house for my birthday...G1 Divebomb with original decals still on their sheet,FOC Soundwave, and BH deluxe Stars cream. Oh, and 3 kreo figures from wave 2 or 3, whichever one has lugnut! I'm also going to TRU with £50 of birthday money in an hour.

Almost makes up for having to cancel AA this year due to my car engine exploding!

nabbed meself legion class soundwave (who's unpainted head is really frustrating, but otherwise is great) and commander class viking bulkhead (who has a really fun transformation) from tescos yestery, 3.50 and 6.50 respectively. They also had legion prowl, windrazor, and hun-grr, and commander BH prime and predaking. Also a single deluxe smokescreen.

£50 hey? If you keep it for a bit, you might be able to afford MP Prime on clearance..

Now that sounds like a plan va'al! Although I did buy Trail cutter with the help of a £5 off voucher. Almost all the other generations stuff had been cleared out. Anyone got the foc grimlock? I haven't heard great things...

I like him! I really do. He's not particularly sturdy, in plastic and because of the hollowness, but the robot mode is nice. He looks deceptively bulky, like the Swindle and Onslaught from the Combaticons, and pulls off a nice personality.

plus he rocks some pretty sweet weaponry-definitely looking to pick one up if i see it at a good price. and have the money on me. et cetera...

There's too much i want to get for my wallet to handle-grimlock, springer, sandstorm, possibly even blitzwing, orion pax, maybe trailcutter/breaker
and of course the big hit is masterpiece soundwave but i mean 120 is a lot...
also am i the only one sorely disappointed at the lack of a ratbat for him?

They've got to leave something for the inevitable Soundblaster repaint...

I've been really good at not buying any toys for the past months, Grimlock came from Canada ages ago, and Chaos/Paladin was pre-ordered last November. So I've spent it all in artwork.

But I'm now considering MP Optimus, as the time for clearance is sooooon...

I can't afford two big masterpiece figures anytime in the forseeable future. And the resale price on individual cassettes would be through the roof I'm sure.
It just really sucks because the comics made me really love ratbat...
