Yep. A REALLY BIG minicon. I knew it wasn't Overlord, as there was a step in between the fins. Overlord doesn't have that. I suppose I coulda gone looking for the exact pic...

You are correct in not considering that an F-22. The Raptor does not use external hard points for fuel tanks/bombs, so that alone should be an immediate give away. Then there's the entire mismatch of the tail section....

I don't know what type of jet it was modeled after but that's armada Thrust's alt mode.

With the Alt-Reference page nonfunctional I had to use the high-scores page.

This guy's alt mode is an F-14, not an F-16, and this guy's alt-mode is not an X-Wing.

And a lot of the toy jets, like the afformentioned F-22 and Wingsaber's A-10 alt-mode, could stand to have 'modified' before the designation the way the Cone-Head seekers do.

And since we're going to have a lot more TIE fighters in v2, his alt should probably be renamed "TIE Defender".

And is that the Fallen's Tank-mode that is also in the game as an "Intergalactic Cruiser" (Shuttle-mode)?

I always thought it was A-Thrust, but the Predator jet matches much more closely if you imagine the missiles attached.

Bare in mind, his "spring-loaded missiles" could attach under the tips of his wings (I think) which gives you the four points visible in the alt image.

Ah, then I admit defeat. Those look pretty cool though, wouldn't mind geting my hands on them.

The predators were late G1, as I know (as Pyro and Clench/Colossus, they were on the edge of G1-G2).
