Just wanted to make sure it was known that I'm thrilled that Decatron's alt is in the game. (the gatling gun seeker) along with another of my creations (the rare tri-vertical wing seeker with the rattler bombs) Wish that I could offer a few more customs that would make unique looking game images. Have one custom weaponed seeker left but I don't think it would convert well at all.

Appreciate the effort and look forward to playing again.

Any chance each factions alts can be posted into the faction forums?

Might make it easier for people to plan for V2 and not have to troll through a few hundred alts they will only be crushing and not using.

He has already posted the Maximal alts in the Maximal forum. I'm sure the other forums will get the same treatment, if they haven't already, soon enough.

Gave them to the Bots and cons now. Enjoy them, because I'm not touching them again, not for a while anyways.

wheres the V-22 and F-14 (cons) also could the decepticons get some real world fighter jet alts like MiGs or other euro based aircraft?

Great I was geting super jealous of that chinook and typhoon
the bots are getting and am glad theres more to come but am I missing something with the fanmade alts.Will/are we able to upload our own?

No, but almost all the altmodes you see in the game were made by fans at some point or another.

People make the icons, and some of the best / most reasonable / most needed / most popular make it into the rotation when the Alt list is updated (which is rare, but it happens).

So, I figure this is probably the best place to ask witghout starting a new thread, but given the recent incident I'm assuming the new Alt mode lists will be vastly larger than the previous ones. Will we get a preview of which side gets what?

I'll be happy if we're not restarting with the original selection of alternate modes.

Indeed. I think we need to remember this is primarily about getting the game back up and working a few of the bugs out. It isn't nessecarily upgrade time for everything.

It just occurred to me, and I don't think anyone else has asked, but was the alt-rotator salvageable, or is it toast?

So would there be any merit to my suggestion of an open list of all that factions alts for 2 weeks until normal rotation kicks in...or would that mess with things?

Also will people who had special reward alt's perminently on their list be able to get them back?

When I wrote the database, I didn't have the ability to code that bit in. As far as I'm aware, the rotator will start immediately.

I can remeber the christmas tournie winners, and most of the DW2 runners, I'm fairly sure there was one other even that handed out PPAs
