In other news, what is it about my build building ability, which lets be fair, isn't the worst, I've been around a while, and for the last 3 or so years, pretty near the top too, so what is it about my building style that makes me give my current team leader absolutely nothing but utter dud builds? I cant seem to come up with anything that works for the guy.

You're teaming with N_V who's made it no secret that he'll go with a crappy build as long as he can level up faster.

He's of the belief stronger opposition will benefit him. I think you and I can see the flaw in that reasoning.

Too true, too true... Still, it hurts to know I am actually providing these guys cover and a little bit of xp at the end of the mission. And as meat shield, these guys STINK.

In this case I'm sure I'd be forgiven. Anyhow, I'd have no problem forgiving myself.

Rage, I am going to drop faction and go off the record for a moment here, to speak to you directly as a concerned member of the HMW community. (Burn/Mods, sorry but I think this needs to be said, enough so I'm willing to risk getting trouble for "feeding the troll" and saying it publicly.)

Your last post is out of line, and you are lucky I don't have ban-hammer access. Redimus has been an active member a lot longer than you have and just because he comments that one of his builds isn't working. (news flash it happens when everything is up to the RNG) He isn't burning himself, he's pointing out an issue he's having that effects many players regardless of status. It certainly doesn't warrant calling him a "retard". (completely inexcusable IMO) Perhaps once you have contributed as much to this community as Red has your post may hold merit, but somehow I doubt that very much and certainly not with that choice of terminology.

The reason some may have issues with you is based on your posting style, I honestly don't care if you are just posting what you think is correct, having a go at our expense, or just trying to be the biggest troll you can be. When it's interaction with people who you consider friends joking around and ribbing, then it's all in good stride, but when it's baseless or plain nonsense, you are going to get reactions in kind.

You care for the game, which is great and I would like to encourage because we need players who are willing to help build the game up and strengthen this community, but when posts show a lack of respect for the other players, which has shown in some of your posts, it is grating and a quick way to lose whatever backing some in the game may still accord to you.

As a player I have zero issues with you, (beyond enjoyment when one of mine locks one of yours) but as a poster, you need to grow up a little. If you are already preparing a pithy come-back to this post, honestly just save it. If you are taking this post negatively, too bad because I just don't care anymore. You have no respect for some of us, then don't be surprised when it's returned in kind. If you are taking it constructively, don't reply, just nut up.

You've been around for at least a year, and in that time you have both amazed and appalled just about everybody who can read in both this forum and Iacon with your 'insightful' banter. Personally, I regard you as pretty harmless and, on occasion, extremely funny but you have a dire need to learn where your mute button is.

Insulting veteran posters on the board for no reason other than as petty revenge for an earlier post is asking for trouble and you are more than smart enough to know better. You're not a 14 year old, you dont need to respond everytime someone points a finger at you and laughs, so its time to stop acting like the 'special' kid and join the crowd properly.



As for everyone else,
I have noticed a trend amongst both factions to bash {Ragebot} at every oportunity. Some may be justified, but most of it is becoming habitual and tedious and it needs to stop. The usual banter level in here is light learted and friendly so lets keep it that way. The Staff will step in if there is a problem, and if you have a problem with something any other forum poster is saying or doing then bring it to one of us or, better still, take it to them via PM.
This is not a dig at Editor, as I totally appreciate where he is coming from.

I think it only goes to demonstrate mankinds epic-level arrogance. It amazes me that there are those amongst us who honestly believe that 100 or so years of our actions can raise a whole PLANETS temperature by even a few degrees. We have a gigantic ball of superheated Hydrogen - the most powerful active energy force in the universe - only a few hundred billion light years away and that still takes hundreds of millions of years just to bring us a few degrees out of an ice age (the last one being only a few hundred thousand years ago, do the math...) and us puny harmanz seriously think we can do in less than a century what takes the sun thousands and millions of years to manage?

Im all for environmentalism but I do it for aestetic and economic reasons - to make the planet look nice and be cheaper to live on - I do not think I am any better at killing this planet than the frikkin SUN.

Right around now, the whole 'global warming' scare is being exploited for, in my opinion, nefarious purposes by governments acting as pawns for big companies. Global warming is supposed to be something we all have to 'get behind', create a common enemy, and most of all, spend a lot of extra money on stuff that has a 'eco-friendly' label or whatnot. It's free branding, a way to inflate pricing and a large scale plan to put new, expensive stuff on the world market. But I don't believe it for a second, exactly for the reasons you have just mentioned.
It's very much comparable to the scare created for the Mexican / Swine Flu. Pharmaceutical companies made a TON of money by creating and exploiting people's fear, and they were aided by governments stirring up that fear.

Don't get me wrong: I certainly do care about the environment, I hate dumped trash in the streets and especially in the countryside / wild, and the BP spill makes me sick.

This is a forum about a particularly silly game for a particularly silly toy line. I don't need this serious discussion of an evening! lol

The fact is that planet is just that more screwed up. The real damage I do not think can be calculated by anyone, even if you are a scientist. There is trash everywhere, there is islands of it. Animals are now in the wrong places, there are invasions of jellyfish on Japanese and Chinese coasts, there is a squid invasion here on the Western coast of the United States. Where are the predators? moved on to cooler waters. There are holes in the Ozone layer with people developing cataracts faster in South America because of it. The list goes on and on...
What I do not understand is why as I am living in California is it only hitting 70 degrees. We are in summer, it is supposed to be 80's and 90's maybe even 100 degrees. However while everyone is experiencing lovely warm weather, going to the beach means it is always two degrees cooler, water at 68 degrees is not that great, 80 yes 68 no.

Also on a side-note here. Has anyone purchased Starcraft 2?
