I'd like to thank OS as well. I imagine it probably really sucked to call and tell me that last night at 11pm. Fortunately, I found my full site backup from April 13th-ish so we were able to restore HMW from that.
As of this morning, I have my backup script running. It will make weekly backups of the site's database. Each backup's filename will contain the timestamp of when the script ran so each week's backup will be unique (which basically means that this week's backup won't overwrite last week's backup). As you can imagine, a website this large has quite a large database so I won't be able to have an infinite number of backups for the site.
The next step for the backup script is to write a script that logs into the server from one or both of my personal computers and grabs the most recent database file from the website so that I can have a backup on my home computer as well. This will keep the number of backups on the live server to a minimum so that I don't end up with 15 3GB backup files on the server. At some point here, I'll run out of diskspace and I don't want the backups to be the cause.
I apologize to everyone that I didn't have the backup script running prior to this.

An so far, I can tell we are all in good hands!
EDIT-[An no... to answer the mails I have gotten, my sig does not mean I am bias... its just a coincidence that my guardian bot looks close to his!
