Today I recieve an early graduation present from my family. A new computer to help me actually graduate from ITT.
Apparently when I told my parents last quarter that it was taking about 4 hours to render a single frame in my 45 second long animation, they decided that if I was actually going to be able to get any work done, I'd need better than what I have.
So Thursday I get a call saying my parents are coming down today with this.
and then yesterday this showed up on my doorstep.
All I've got to say is that finally I can whip up some damn nice stuff and not have to worry about it taking a year to render.

That's awesome man. Good for you! I absolutely love that graphics card. I just installed mine a week ago.

Never say that. ITT Tech is the most utter piece of **** school I've ever had the misfortune of going to.
It's just an overpriced office. Their credits don't transfer at all. So they cornhole you into staying at ITT.
You may find one decent teacher in the entire school who actually knows what they're talking about. But then half the time you get a teacher who doesn't really know squat and is just doing the job as a part time thing so they don't really care.
Not to mention tuition is $5000+ a quarter. $20,000 a year. For what? Maybe learning one thing, but mostly just having to deal with their poor and incompetent staff.
If I could go back in time. I'd tell myself to still move to Fort Wayne, but go to IPFW instead of ITT Tech.
