Hehe, yep. It looks kinda like an evil robot jack-o-lantern. I can see an easy repaint into FoC 'Dead End' in Prime Dead End's colors working for this. That would be kinda cool and creepy

Holy crap.... $14.99??????????????????? WTF???
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

FOC hasn't hit my area just yet, but thanks for posting the DPCI number. I will keep checking regularly.

Its one thing to make figures smaller but keep the damn price & quality the same. Alot of people arent willing to pay or cant pay $13 for a prime deluxe what makes them think they'll pay $15 for a generations when theres nothing special about them. The last wave of generations werent even $15 they were $13 and they were bigger & of better quality than DOTM, TFPRIME, this wave of generations and they came out when the economy was **** just like it is now. Sorry about the rant but what hasbros doing is uncalled for and just not fair to consumers especially those who are falling on hard times.
Pretty sure it has to do with the economy. ****'s getting pricey for Hasbro too I'm sure. Cuts have to be made somewhere.

As a domestic release, these aren't worth $15.
...and I bought them.

What? You think that's expensive? Double it, and you get what I would have to pay if it hits the stores here in Norway.

Folks, I think it helps (somewhat) to look at things this way: it's inflation at work, simple as that. I bought a G1 Mirage with box on eBay recently, and the price tag that was still on the box said $7.99. If you adjust for inflation, it would cost roughly $17 today. Mirage and the rest of the Autobot cars are quite noticeably smaller than even the DOTM Deluxes, which most people noted were smaller than ROTF and TFTM deluxes. They're almost Scout Class sized.
Granted, G1 Transformers had die-cast parts and rubber tires, and the newer deluxesa re made with cheaper materials, but even taking that into consideration, G1 Deluxes are still priced above what the new crop of FOC and Prime Deluxes are, and they were smaller to boot. Frankly, deluxes have gotten bigger since G1 and are just now returning to a bit larger their original sizes. Not to mention that the range of articulation and detail was severely limited in G1.
P.S. I don't count G1 Whirl and Roadbuster as Deluxes, even though they were "Deluxe Autobots", because they were closer to what I'd call Voyager size of G1.

It sucks for dudes who are priced out because of this but I assure you it isn't a problem unique to the Transformers brand. Prices have been skyrocketing over the past few years.
3 3/4 Joes are $9.99 and up. Marvel Legends are $19.99. 3 3/4 Avengers are $8-9. And on and on.
It stinks, but why do you think Legends and Bot Shots are over performing like they are? Times are tough all over.

worldsgreatest wrote:Exactly. For the younger fans out there who may not have been around before the movies, the Deluxe price point has/had been $9.99 since Beast Wars. That's 15 years without the actual cost being affected by inflation. While I'll agree that the figures themselves have gone down in both size and quality of material it was inevitable that the price was going to go up, the question was a matter of when.

Yeah, I find myself getting more Legends/Cyberverse figures and Bot Shots more than deluxes and voyagers. They're nice and just don't hit the wallet as hard. Still, I'll have no problem getting some of these FoC deluxes when I find them.

go to one of those price checking machines around the store, type in the numbers then press "enter" and it'll say what they are, how much they are, and if they do or do not have them in the stockroom.
it's super sad that these things are $15.. i'd still like to see size comparisons with these and the WFC figures. something tells me that after i see that, i'll be even more sad.

but the economy right now is so bad, that it's even more difficult to swallow the price of something that costs more, but is a smaller product.
if they're going to raise the price.. keep the toy the same size, if you're going to shrink the toy, shrink the price too.
plus, i'm pretty sure that toys today are a hell of a lot easier to make than they were way back when.

I wonder, do these have their own physical location or do they share peg space with Prime? If it is the latter I've been noticing (at least in my area) that Targets haven't done their hard Summer resets yet. It is indeed a matter of time! None of the Targets around me are showing stock yet either.
