Transformers Movie director Michael Bay's official website has been updated with a countdown clock, similar to the one once gracing the front page of Seibertron.com, counting down the days, hours, minutes and seconds until the next instalment in the live-action Transformers Movie franchise.

It seems that the countdown clock is not visible on Internet Explorer 7 - but can be seen using other web browser such as Firefox.

As of this post, there remains 469 days 5 hours and 32 minutes until the release of the Transformers Movie sequel, scheduled for a June 26th 2009 release.

I'm real glad that he's so eager about this project. The first one he was on the fence about TFs, now he seem to realy wanna bring it!

I love that BAY is putting his heart and soul into this movie. I knew he was the right director for these transformers films since day 1.

Now he's probably also on eBay and online stores in a TFs hunt just like us. He's gonna collect them all!

Now, seriously, I'm really glad things are moving onward and to see that he seems more enthusiastic this time around because when someone does something what he/she enjoys the results are always better. I believe we're gonna have a greater movie than the first one, but we should not raise our expectations too high just so that we don't ruin the feeling and actually enjoy it when it's released

I'll have to keep watching the first one over and over till then! Transforming robots and Megan Fox! In the words of Quagmire Giggaty Giggaty! I'm glad Bays excited i have no doubt he'll do a fantastic job. The first one was great and the second will be too! ;)^

The best thing for me is to keep an open mind, some things or characters to see in the film let alone any film would be nice but to EXPECT this or that is what ruins movies for me and most people from what I've noticed.
