Interesting. We knew form the FFF 2 weeks back (that had 3 toy reveals ), that the Victory themed Haslab project would be revealed on the 27th, but I figured it would just be a info dump on Pulse etc... I am looking forward to the reveal, but if they are going to make a whole FFF out of it, hopefully they will show more than just the Haslab project. I don't need a 30 minute explanation of just that.

I still feel it is not the best use of Haslab to put Star Saber there. he really wouldn't need anything more then a commander class figure. Sure, he's big with 3 robots over all, but they are super simple transformations. Maybe if it's the full Victory Leo set. But there are bigger more complex transformers from victory that could do well there, like Lio Kaiser. And what about Deathsaurus? Guess we will see.

What I'm expecting: Star Saber, half an hour of babbling about how great Japanese G1 is, and in the final few seconds another reminder that the Shattered Glass line is a thing.

Bad Ending: Half an hour of babbling about how great the 1986 movie is, then Star Saber reveal in the last few seconds.

It's probably on HasLab as Hasbro don't want to take a risk on the figure at retail and it allows a bit more flexibility in terms of plastic usage then the fixed price point would offer.

I also think this will be what will happen. I am certain we won't get a mention of the Golden Disk line, but wave 4 kingdom might be a thing, just maybe.

Victory Saber makes sense as a HasLab project. Hopefully it blows way past its backing and Hasbro decides to release a whole line-up of Transformers from the Victory series.

Whatever happens with Victory this friday, I'll support it, But it may not be just Starsaber. I posted this earlier in another thread:

Whatever the next Haslab turns out to be, we know it will be based on TF:Victory, and will be revealed this Friday August 27. If it is one character, that is fine, but perhaps it would be a series of characters? I could see a CC Star Saber, a CC Victory Leo, a CC Deszarus, and perhaps Dinoking for a combined total of around $400-$450. Just as an example

I totaly understand that, and I agree, any more would be a bonus.

However, The least expensive Haslab to date is the Hero Quest game, and I think that was $150?? I would be a bit puzzled if it was *just* Star Saber for say...$100.00, any more, then YES you start to get into the argument that the MP toy is superfluous. But again, we shall see.

Also, something I just saw on Pulse makes me a bit nervous, looks like a Star Wars Haslab Rancor is coming soon as well. I hope they don't offer it, and the TF:Victory one at the same time

However, The least expensive Haslab to date is the Hero Quest game, and I think that was $150?? I would be a bit puzzled if it was *just* Star Saber for say...$100.00, any more, then YES you start to get into the argument that the MP toy is superfluous. But again, we shall see.

They announced they Rancor project a day or two after the Galactus project whent live. Hopefully that means that whatever they announce for Victory won't launch until after the Rancor project. Not that having all three franchises have Haslab projects running back to back is a good thing either. They all potentially take backers from away from each other, depending on how much cross collecting there actually is.

We already know the rest of Kingdom's regular releases, no chance of either of them there. However, you did just make me think of something. Haslab Unicron was timed to come out when the TFTM movie anniversary was due and the SS86 line was coming out, meaning there were toys to go along with the Haslab offering.

Granted there isn't a mandatory celebrate the movie anniversary every 5 years thing attached to Victory, but I do wonder if there will be some other regular releases in the next line to match up with whatever Haslab ends up including.

I would not be surprised if there are more Victory figs if HasLab is indeed Star Saber! But I dunno about that many actual figures since the US never saw Victory translated. I’d love to see more though since I feel like we have more than enough G1 updates

Perceptor is still available. I can still order cases from multiple distributors for the Seibertron store and it is currently available from a couple of our sponsors that I just checked.

What World's Collide mess are you referring to? The set just came out a couple of weeks ago. Just saw one at my Target today. If it's sold out in your area, just wait a few months and your store should get its restock. Or set a tab in your browser to open up Target's page for that item so you can see when it's in stock at your local stores or when it's available online to ship (if you haven't already done this). Just a couple of suggestions. If you missed it the first time around, I'm sure you'll get another chance to get this set again. There's no way a set with 3 or 4 remolds is an extremely limited set.

And I haven't seen it at my Target either, even though I had an employee check and tell me they were supposed to receive 3 sets and they mysteriously vanished off the truck.

It's pretty much guaranteed that there will be no Victory figures in 2022 as that line has been leaked through Target listings (or put it this way, I'll be surprised to see any). However 2023 is wide open and we know through Black Zarak and the rumoured Mineva figure that they are dipping their toe into JG1 waters, so just wait and see for a couple of years time.

Raiden won't be in Haslab since that is for Hasbro initiated projects. Raiden is a Takara Tomy project. He'll be released same as any other Takara MP outside japan, through Hasbro sanctioned imports.

The Haslab project will definitely be Starsabre. We've had the rumour for over a year now and hasbro hinted at it.

Maybe it will just be high quality replicas of starsabres sword and shield paving the way to do more toy weapons like Marvels shields/hammers etc
