Can't believe I'd forget an artist with such an awesome name as ULISES FARIÑAS.

Listening to Will giggle through what felt like 90% of this really made mowing the lawn today more enjoyable. :lol:

(Yes, it does take me over 2 hours to mow and trim my lawn.)

Man, I really need to stop listening to Scotty's impressions of MPs before I open mine because I hate instructions. But after he said you'll break Lio Convoy if you don't watch the YouTube video, however long ago that was, I still haven't taken mine out of the box. Shouki is sitting here waiting for me to open him up but I'm not sure if I want to fumble through him right now. I did finally transform MP-44 Convoy and MP-36 Megatron back in November and did do Starscream as soon as he showed up so maybe I'll be OK? Maybe I should just glance at them...

I wish Shouki had come in after my KO Fans Toys Thomas, which came in the day after we recorded this one. After messing with Thomas, Shouki's a walk in the park and I've taken it back and forth a few more times no sweat!

And yard work? I get it dude, definitely my least favorite chore so glad to be of some help there.

Haha, thanks. I know its more customary to mute the mic, and I did that too, but when my response was a legit giggle, I prefered having it there rather than silence. I love transformers and having fun so I'm glad if that fun was contagious.

As for Scotty and his view on instructions, I feel that way too. but it paid off. I did mess up sometimes by not looking at instructions (more for third party toys) and it always bit me in the but. Plus, while I do prefer figuring stuff on my own, these are legit masterpieces and there is a precise sequence to things that the designer wants to share with you. So going through the booklet is part of the masterpiece experience.

I am curious though, if I read what you wrote right does that mean you transformed MP 36 without instructions the first time?!

Scotty the podcast has gotten me through a lot of yardwork over the years.

Yep and back. The legs are tricky, especially getting them to expand and compress, and trying to get the feet the right way but it wasn't terrible. It certainly wasn't fast though...

Just a follow up, I met Ulises Farinas and he is a super chill guy. He's not doing comics anymore though, he has since become this generation's Martin Handford where he does Official Star Wars Search and Find books now.
