I wonder if these will cost more? I remember I paid $25US for Robovision Prime, yet the Best Buy editions were the same price as any other Voyager - $20.

I'm thinking that Starscream will probably cost the same as Robovision Prime did, being everything's the same with the packaging and it's the same store. I actually hope this whole line does cost more than the originals (I know, sounds crazy). That way I won't feel so ripped off by this whole thing. I'll feel actually better about what I have already. That's just me though.

I don't care how much it costs, that Starscream is mine. Once I get a release date, my old SS is being repainted as Skywarp.

Ok I finally saw the picture and I have to say I'm unimpressed. Those new heads are simply hideous! Megatron's head is even worse than before!

You could always get the movie upgrade stickers at Reprolabels instead for your Barricade. I got them for mine (and Blackout). They're awesome. All it looks like to me is that they added the same logos to that new premium Barricade, plus some crappy looking silver on the windows which will probably be applied all smeared and sloppier than hell. No thanks.

The upgrade stickers are cool. I plan to get the Ironhide set here soon also. I like original Ironhide better than premium already and the stickers will make it even better.

Here's what I want to see taken care of for the new LC figures.

Proper LED's.

I don't know how many times I curse in silent when I see in stores toys with lights on the box's picture that doesn't match the real toy's.

Case in point:

LC Prime's box shows BLUE eyes and chest. We get Yellow/Amber.

LC Megatron's box shows RED chest and wings. We get Yellow/Amber.

I took apart my Prime to give him the proper lights in his eyes (chest is way too complicated to take apart), but if they don't fix these problems in the new versions, I'm not going to get them and waste several more days of my life again just to solder 1 LED.

wow, i must admit, i never knew how cool a transformer looked riding a Zord.. Hmmmm i wonder what they'd look like riding a Zoid?? With Armor..

For those interested:

Okay...so Barricade is just a repaint of what the repolabel sticker upgrade did (which are sorta better).

Starscream is...metallic silver.

Jazz has replaced the autobot symbol on his bellybutton and switch for two yellow headlights (I think). His shin guards and foot area are colored to yellowish-gold. Thigh lights are no longer red and are yellow. Seems like you can mount the spoiler shield on the backside in robot form now (could you do that before? I didn't open mines yet).

Ironhide headlights/shoulder pads are red (or maybe that's a bad scan) now. His face has been removed of yellow and maybe the light navy blue. The yellow underchest applications and cannons (hopefully they can fire independently) are more detailed painting. In alt mode, silver on rails on top hood, smokestacks (still short ), lining on wheels, door handles, a dot on the gas cap. Autobot symbol on hood.

LD prime hips are silver instead blue. No gold in the kneecap areas. Red shoulders are gold. Sword application and bigger head.

LD megs...he sucks anyways...

So all in all, some figures are really extensive painting. Some are retools but I will buy them, if they are price the same or within fair range of it (cause of retools). All except Megs.

I want to see Blackout and bumblebee...

If you look real closely behind Megatron's upper arms, you can see the tips of the pink wings. The figure in the picture must be broken, because that gimmick lever thing on his chest is released, which makes the wings go up.

EDIT:
The wings are held down like that by the right arm being in that position and not locked in place at the shoulder.

I also don't believe that's a new head on Megs. I think the new colors and lighting are giving that illusion.
