No, it means you post, then if you need to add something, use the edit button, instead of racking up several uninterrupted posts in a row, since all that does it needlessly pad your post count. There's a handy edit feature, that even appends the number of times editted and the latest edit date, to the end of your post.

Yeah, I already know someone's going to be banned at the rate it's going, and I'd like it to not be me.
