Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

What, a censored and Americanized version of a far superior product?
(I've never watched Voltron or Go Lion please don't shoot me)
Each component's a lion, of course.Kurona wrote:Does that make Pyra Magna Space Dad Mum?
I guess Rust Dust can count as Allura...
Go watch the new one on Netflix. Only 11 episodes and is genuinely amazing!Delta Magnus wrote:

For a moment I thought you were talking about Macross and the inferior Robotech

Eh, GoLion was from 1981.Delta Magnus wrote:ZeroWolf wrote:Delta Magnus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:It's official, Victorion is now a sentient female Voltron.

I am a Macross snob, but that wasn't what I was talking about here. (Harmony Gold can eat my arse though).
@Sabreblade:
Huh, I'll have to give it a watch. I do love giant robot shenanigans (though I do want to watch the original Go Lion as I hear for a 70s anime it's actually really good). Thanks for the recommendation!

But what's interesting about the new Voltron in relation to GoLion is that it actually takes some elements from GoLion in addition to elements from past Voltron shows. It's awesome.

...Why? Is this some crap only Wikinauts care about?
But "Combiner" was always the official term. "Gestalt" was a fan term given use in some sparse official cases.Sigma Magnus wrote:Delta Magnus wrote:Sigma Magnus wrote:I was honestly hoping they'd use 'Gestalt' as the official term, and use 'Combiner' as slang...oh well.

...what? No, no. At least to me, gestalt just sounds more...I dunno...professional?
