If given a choice between the two, I kind prefer if Croaton got a Titan class toy before Iaconus since he's the first Titan introduced in the show, and could come with the Quintessan possession technology as accessories.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Iaconus getting a toy would give hope to the chances of Croaton getting a toy as well, which would then allow fans to reenact the clash of the Titans between the two.
Even though it is a new cartoon, it would be cool to get a Titan Iaconus, considering we are now finished with the "standard" titans one would expect from that pricepoint.
And the Titan class doesn't need to be exclusively G1 characters Warden

chuckdawg1999 wrote:Continuing the Deluxe Class subline of Cyberverse, Hot Rod is a solid figure that's a great representation of the animated design. Transformation is smooth but satisfying, although there are some details missing like Hot Rod's trademark yellow spoiler. The blast effects are a nice addition but I feel a handheld weapon would've been a nice addition. Definitely worth a pick up for your Cyberverse collection.

Iaconus has an Ultimate Class listing from a while back, remember?

I found a review of rack n ruin.
Gotta say, i dig what i see that. He is not perfect, yes, but for what it is, he looks to be a pretty fun toy. Might end up licking him up.

Video Review for Transformers Cyberverse Ultra Class Rack n' Ruin
- Motto: "There are no impossibilities in the multiverse, just small minds unable to comprehend the possibilities"
- Weapon: Armor Axe
Thanks to Seibertronian Bacem, we have news that a video review has hit the internet for the highly anticipated Cyberverse Ultra Class Rack n' Ruin!
Rack n' Ruin is a very unique character to Transformers, and one whom took a long time to finally get his first toy. Rack n' Ruin debuted as a set of conjoined Autobots who were members of the Wreckers back in the original Marvel Comics, though much like their leader Impactor, it took time for them to break away from the comic world and into other media.
Transformers Cyberverse introduced Rack n' Ruin in Season 1 of the show, and he has been a regular background character for Season 2 and 3, even showing up as the Captain of one of the Arks in the Season 2 finale! And with Impactor finally getting some mainline toy love and Whirl getting some cartoon love (finally), it seems it is Rack n' Ruins turn to join them in toy form.
The new toy is part of the Ultra Class assortment, and will be around $20 USD. He has the armor up gimmick that Clobber has, and much like her, he has some decent articulation and a pretty neat transformation.

So the Arcee and Thunderhowl I ordered on Target.com as part of the BOGO sale have changed their order status to "backordered" even though I ordered them hours after the sale started they were still taking pre-orders long after. Hope this isn't the first step in them canceling my order as other had warned happened to them in the past.

So the first email they sent me yesterday said the release date had been changed to 2/27, but backordered to 3/6. Now I've just received another email saying backordered to 3/16. Really hope this order doesn't get canceled.

Geez, this isn't sounding good.
A friend on Twitter has his delivery date updated to 3/6 for those toys, so it seems weird stuff is afoot here.

Picked some stuff up from Target on the last day of the sales. Cyberverse turned out to be a much bigger deal than I thought it would be, so some important characters needed toys got, no matter the quality!
i'm glad Dead End and the Scraplet are my only 2 scouts, they are not that good, but i'm glad to have Dead End, he ended up being my favorite con! Soundwave is pretty alright, he's not great, but he will do. I loved him in Season 3. I just wish his faceplate was the same as the show model, I'm contemplating shaving it town and painting the eyes red to match the show model.
Repugnus is wonderful, that is what the 1-steps were supposed to be, I love him. the beast mode is super cute, and the transformation is great. I love how you can't really see the robot mode is beast mode. This is the 1 step we always needed.
Now to hunt down the remainder of the Resistance and the other cyberverse guys I want:
-1-step Whirl
-the 4 final deluxes / Maccadam
-Warrior Hammerbyte
-Ultra Rack n' Ruin
-Ultimate Iaconus
-Meteorfire
-Wildwheel

With them, I now have the con half of the Resistance!

And the irony of getting Repugnus while wearing a Repugnus!

while I wish he had a mouth, the con symbol really helps the look here. I adore him despite being a bad toy. Good characterization in the show will do that!

Also, it's really cool to see the height different from beast to robot mode for Repugnus. They nailed him.
And I predict that in the next TV show, Grotusque will finally get a new animated show model and toy, following Twinferno (RiD2015) and Grotusque (Cyberverse)

Transformers Cyberverse Hammerbyte and
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
A friend of the site, Michael, sent some cool news our way. He spotted the new Cyberverse Warrior figures, Starscream and Hammerbyte. These warrior figures seem to have more articulation than before and that Strarscream has a nice new cybertronian alt mode. These were found at a Walmart in Florida. These are part of a rebranded Cyberverse line called Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures. Yearly rebranding is common in longer toylines to let stores know that these toys are new.

Even the show switches to using the rebranding by the 13th episode of Season 3. Yet, Bumblebee is not the main character at that point in the show. Sure, he stars in some of those episodes, but usually shares the spotlight with at least one or two other characters.

I want that Starscream but I’ll do what I did with Bee and gunna hold off in the hopes they do an actual Deluxe that’ll do him justice. I made that mistake with Optimus and it still annoys me.
