I bought the plastic version of the Masterpiece Voltron that had a vintage themed box. The MP version sucks, but the removal of die cast made it awesome and durable.
I watched the series when I was little, but don't remember much. I know Go Lion is supposed to be the better story though.

Convotron wrote:When the sale for SDCC toys went live on August 1st, I spent 20 minutes getting through the site traffic just to place an order for the Blazing Sword Voltron figure. I definitely don't want to do that each and every time a new Lion and pilot are released so $15 for a subscription is a small fee in order to guarantee every figure plus an exclusive figure.

If you read through the subscription fine print, they refund $50. The $65 is for verification.

Oh I can't deny that, but for what you get, I'm just not sold on them.
