Scary part is Gore and I were so close in exp but Gore did get me at the end.

The XP and Energon you get from fighting another bot depends on its level: you get more for fighting higher-level bots. These are the two formulae that appear to be used:
Experience: (% damage inflicted) x 2^(target's level)
Energon: (% damage inflicted) x (1 + target's level)
This is why the XP/Energon amounts don't seem to match together at higher levels - the XP is worked out on an exponential scale but the Energon gain is linear. You could also look at it from a different angle and say that a bot of X level has Y 'hit points' and is worth Z Energon, and you get a percentage of that total when you damage them.
Tactics don't actually work any differently - the extra advantage they give you is to attack more frequently (Strafe), stop a bot attacking you (Ram) or to boost an ally's health (Repair). All of these gain the same XP/€ as hitting a bot with a weapon or punch/kick (in the case of Repair, you obviously gain by how much damage you repair on the target bot, rather than how much you inflict). The exception is Avoid: it gains you a flat 50xp / € 50 per use both in the arena and in missions, and the attack that triggered the Avoid is discounted (so your opponent doesn't gain anything from it).

Usually served on a stick.
Occasionally you get some spicy ones but usually they tend toward the bland or bitter side.

But, I'm one of those getting slaughtered because it seems like the whole bleedin' faction's decided to scarper off on holiday almost at the moment the competition round started, feel free to mock on. I'm just going to take my lumps every couple hours, play SWTOR in between to ease the pain and all...
...and consider if I'm even going to bother come next C4C round or if it's just time to say 'forget it all' and hand you lot the stupid planet. We can build another, Jhiaxis and the 'Cybertronians' proved that in G2, they built dozens of them and all... (which, considering that 'Beast Wars' creators intended the Vok to be the Matrix-purified Swarm, I still think one of THOSE "Cybertrons" is the one we saw in Beast Machines, not the real Cybertron... but I digress...)

sumowrestler wrote:I'm one of those bots who is still at level one. A part of me wonders if there is much difference between me and a level 0 even though about half my team is above the 40k cap. Usually I am the default metal shield plate in the 1-11 hell missions with the rare lucky shot on level 8+ cons. What I lack in level I try to make up in forum.
