Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.
Deadput wrote:Why would we get a G1-Animated Omega Supreme when we literally just got Omega Supreme in Siege?
It doesn't make sense from a business perspective and would possibly be a shelf warmer.
If it's the Ark, it ain't going to be Omega Supreme, it will more then likely be either The Last Autobot as the Ark, Teletraan-1 as a Transformer or an entirely new character that turns into the Ark.

I don't know. For it to make any real sense it would have to be done in Animated style and that just isn't going to happen in Generations. I feel like too many people would disregard it as being for a young children's line without a proper companion line in stores to go with it.
Where I think this would be more successful is as a HasLab project.

Nah, we've had our Haslab project, and it went poorly.
They had to extend its deadline at the last minute to make sure it would get made since they didn't have enough orders by the time of the first deadline, and they really wanted it to succeed after Cookie Monster failed to meet its own quota (which was partly due to its running at the same time as Unicron). Otherwise, without that extension, Unicron would have failed to meet its own quota, and it nearly did.Wolfman Jake wrote:D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Emerje wrote:D-Maximal_Primal wrote:And considering an Animated-style Omega is a long time dream for many, and considering the way titans are going/selling in this line, I doubt it would shelfwarm.

The fully funded and currently in-production Unicron figure went poorly?

This.
Just because something succeeds doesn't mean it couldn't go poorly. If it weren't for that 6 week extension, it would not have made it, not even close. And there was so much bungling going on at the same time, with lack of info, lack of world wide shipping, lack of clarify on if pre-orders elsewhere counted, lack of any real incentives to pay that much, etc.
Not to mention TFs are like the 1 thing a Haslab project has involved so far that has such a large unofficial section. That 3P Uni threw all kinds of kinks in, and still got made, and people cancelled orders when it was revealed and then eventually released. That process made our fandom look HORRID, no joke.
With that part, he's referring specifically to the 3P Unicron interfering with the official one.Wolfman Jake wrote:Again, you'll have to indulge me on this. How exactly did this make our fandom look "horrid"?

Those that made the jump were re-styled into fitting the G1 aesthetic. He's referring to an Animated Omega that keeps the Animated aesthetic.Jelze Bunnycat wrote:Emerje wrote:I just can't see Hasbro letting Animated style figures mingle with G1 and Beast Wars.

What about characters unique to, or debuted in Animated? We got some to choose from, like Ninja Prowl and Oil Slick, plus Bulkhead, Lugnut, Slipstream and even Blitzwing made the jump.

Can't really see that, with all the smooth curves and such ruined by the detailing Generations is known for. It would take a lot of experimenting to find that sweet spot in the middle.

So, how does a third party company practicing blatant intellectual property theft reflect badly on the fans of said intellectual property?

Question I have is, will they reveal Kingdom at Pulsecon. Seems weird to do the reveals via a con that only 2 countries worth of people can access online
