That's because, prior to DOTM, the Legion class was previously known as the Legends class, as it was originally the "Legends of Cybertron" class back when it first debuted in the TF: Cybertron line.AcademyofDrX wrote:I can't believe we're still talking about scale either. Some of the "Legends" figures like Universe Warpath are closer to Legion size, while the TR and PotP Legends are practically a size class larger.

Wolfman Jake wrote:As for the episode you mentioned with jousting, I'm assuming you're referring to "A Decepticon Raider in King Arthur's Court." Believe it or not, that episode wasn't produced by the usual studios, Toei or AKOM, but an as yet unidentified animation studio. It's got several errors/differences in animation compared to the bulk of Season 2. For instance, Hoist has a different character model, Warpath's mouth vents don't light up when he talks, and his tank barrel length changes from shot to shot. So, I don't think this episode is the best to hang your hat on when it comes to making scale arguments.

I'm guessing the leaker saw his butt flap pop off and just assumed it turned into a shield.
I like it. The size is pretty much spot on, I wouldn't have been happy if he was the same size as Cliffjumper, but I know there's others that didn't want him to be the size of a normal deluxe so it's a fine compromise. Engineering-wise he has a nice sense of complexity compared to Cheetor (who didn't need to be that complex to begin with).

As was I. And you have another post to edit.LOST Cybertronian wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Cats are flexible like that... ...and this is kind of inappropriate.LOST Cybertronian wrote:Anybody else notice Cheetor fellates himself When transforming into bot mode?
Fixed it? But hey I didn’t make the inappropriate transformer. Just pointing it out.

Anything to keep an argument going. The movie episode, with "Moist" had him share time with all the blowhard autobots, Warpath amongst them. In that episode, he wasn't shown to be any smaller than any of the other Autobots.
In fact, in all the episodes he appears in, only Five Faces of Darkness has him at mini-bot size definitively, but he's always sort of been a 'tall minibot.' I think the Kingdom compromise works well enough.
AcademyofDrX wrote:Looks like Hot Rod's chest is fake, which I don't get. Maybe it's more cartoon-accurate, but for me, it's like a seeker cockpit--the most iconic part of both modes and the centerpiece of the transformation. I can't believe this is going to be a downgrade not only compared to TR but even against PotP.

Don't know if it's been said here before, but according to several leakers, his head turns into Primal's face mace.
