Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.
o.supreme wrote:The Ark still looks great. but I guess the inclusion of the Micro Figure can put to rest the idea that the Core Class smaller representations of Classic Characters were for The Ark. I know that a lot of people enjoy them despite their small size, but they just seem pointless to me now.
As for the holloness. I'm guess the fact that it is only 19 inches, and uses less plastic overall than more recent Titan's is the reason for the slight price reduction. ($149.99)
Also, Teletran-1 Looks almost like it could be a weaponizer, but not sure...
No problem Boss BotSeibertron wrote:Nemesis Primal wrote:...isn't Scorponok a Deluxe, not a Voyager?
Yes, you are correct. That was my mistake. I read it at $29.99 for the MSRP, and because Scorponok had previously been a larger Mega class, my brain just went with that made complete sense for Scorponok. I updated the news article accordingly. Thanks Nemesis Primal!

WiseMan wrote:I wanted the ark for the spaceship mode. Only. It doesn't even really have a robot mode that anyone identifies with. So considering they only had one mode to get right, how could they leave gaping holes in the sides?! They seriously couldn't engineer a panel that flips down to cover it?!
They only needed one mode and failed spectacularly. I honestly can't think of a bigger design failure in Transformers history.

Scorponoks chest is too square and his crotch looks off (aomething a fair few WFC figures have against them) but I think that it might be the size class that goes against him for me as I'll mainly be going for MP beast wars figures. Still nice to see we are getting nearly the full Beast wars crew so Inferno can't be far behind

Unfortunately, in spite of the more life-like Beast Mode head, the character accurate colour scheme was always going to make any notion of realism redundant.

Galvatron, I'll wait to see repaints of. But I'm just not feeling $50 for him.
The Ark / Iaconus (I'm calling him that, frag it) looks pretty dang nice. I like the aesthetic they went with for him, looks great! and I love that Mainframe. I hope we get a proper colored Mainframe repaint of him in selects, the Lost Light shelf deserves it!
On a different note, I love using Ractonite as a huge bone hammer

Well the Titanium Ark doesn't have to transform into an almost 2-foot tall robotWiseMan wrote:My dinky little Titanium Ark that doesn't look like any other Ark is more Ark-like than the Kingdom Ark.
