But that means they are about to get it in. So it should start being available to buy directly too assuming they get more in than what the preorders use up.
In other words, he's about to actually be released. As was the case with SWII and SS and BB & Sam.
Once they started fulfilling pre-orders those two were available for direct purchase.

For the inaccuracy of Terrosaur, his transformation in the show was pretty much physically impossible.
I think this is a pretty good attempt at it. If you are so annoyed by the wings, you can always just pop them off in robot mode and fold the stubs onto his back.

The original toy transformation is not even close to the cartoon. Also Hasbro is not Tony Stark.![]()
Terrosaur has no wings in robot mode. his legs just sprout out of nowhere, while his pteranodon claws impossibly shrimp onto his robot toes.
The only thing it gets right is the rump chest.
There is no such thing as a cartoon accurate Terrosaur in our 3 dimensional world.

I agree, an MP would get closest...but would pay for it.
We'd be better off with agreeing what compromises we can agree on. I for one, don't care about animation accurate transformation.

I attempted to find out what was going on. Despite the fact that Pipes and Slammer were a part of my order yesterday, BBTS won't confirm that today. Although apparently it's ok if cancel my order.

I'm pretty sure BBTS just jumped the gun using the original wave 4 case breakdown instead of the revised one that is actually being delivered. Pipes and Slammer were moved to wave 5 and replaced with Paleotrex and Tracks re-issues in wave 4. I'd cancel now.

That's an interesting point and while I can empathize with mistakes my point is different.
It's a question of moral and legal ethics. Is it morally ok or even legally ok to change someone's order? BBTS and I entered into an agreement. I pose that changing that agreement is ethically wrong and charging me for something I didn't agree to purchase is legally wrong. I also pose that ignoring their mistake and having the customer take action to correct the mistake is unethical.
Now I don't doubt that someone on Hasbro's payroll messed up it seems to me there were mistakes all around.

Really? Are you US-based because I wasn't expecting it to come in that soon? There's a couple of GI Joe exclusives I'm waiting on too.
Yep, Hasbro probably saw how well Kingdom was doing so they probably cobbled something together for Terrorsaur and put Tarantulus and Inferno in the next line.Sabrblade wrote:I guess the best we can say about why Terrorsaur is an exclusive instead of a mainline release is most likely because he probably was never supposed to be made in the first place, having never been part of the original plans for the Kingdom line.

At the same time, the Galactic Odyssey Collection itself felt like a last minute addition to Earthrise, getting in some figures that felt like they were meant for the main line but got shoved around thanks to Covid (Ratchet, specifically) while the rest were just simple redecos meant to pad out that subline.Wolfman Jake wrote:Autobot N wrote:Yep, Hasbro probably saw how well Kingdom was doing so they probably cobbled something together for Terrorsaur and put Tarantulus and Inferno in the next line.Sabrblade wrote:I guess the best we can say about why Terrorsaur is an exclusive instead of a mainline release is most likely because he probably was never supposed to be made in the first place, having never been part of the original plans for the Kingdom line.
Yeah, Terrorsaur was never in any of the promotional artwork, if I recall. Other characters that were eventually dropped, like Gears and Polar Claw, made it into that promotional poster for Kingdom, but not Terrorsaur. When Hasbro and Takara realized early on the demand for Terrorsaur once Kingdom was revealed, they probably just took the easiest route to put out some version of the character within the line, and reskinning the Airazor mold was it. To be quite honest, most of this Golden Disk collection feels rushed compared to the variety we got with the Galactic Odyssey collection of Earthrise. At least all of those sets contained multiple characters.

Wolfman Jake wrote:I think it also bears mentioning that these promotional pics of Terrorsaur don't have his wings transformed correctly in robot mode. They're just sticking straight out, not using any of the folding joints to tab them into the back and shorten the wingspan as on the Airazor and Skywarp uses of the mold.
