None of it's necessary, but if you have FOMO or want to be first on the block, it helps.
Unrelated, the Shopify app is also super helpful for managing orders, especially for shipping updates. Most of the toymaker direct-to-consumer offerings use Shopify for fulfillment, so I can track orders from places like NECA and Super7 there too.
Wait, they had the BAT in-stock?
Both the BAT and Alley Viper were available yesterday. At one point I wasn't expecting them until midyear, but it looks like Amazon and other retailers may have them this month. I already got a ship notice for Blaster, but I haven't gotten one for the BAT yet.

Don't forget, he gets a re-release in Legacy Wave 1
That's good news. When does Legacy start though, I though I heard in the summer?
Preorders are for summer but that's just Hasbro being conservative in delivery estimates

It is true that when Hasbro switched from making the Generations line last multiple years, to making them 1 year each starting with PotP, you could expect first sightings around December for the first wave, and full saturation by end of Q1 of the year it was meant to be in.
However, the pandemic, and shipping delays messed up a LOT of things. All things being normal, we would probably have had the first sightings of Legacy by now, but obviously things are anything BUT normal.
I don't have a crystal ball, but "Summer" is definitely just a "CYA" move by Hasbro. If fans start seeing product earlier, they can be pleasantly surprised. But with all the delays in the last 18 months, Hasbro isn't taking any chances.

sol magnus wrote:Too bad you don't like Blaster...he's the ginchiest! There's one flaw with him, as if Hasbro just can't do it perfectly: His Electro Scrambler doesn't have Blast Effect compatibility.

Jelze Bunnycat wrote:chuckdawg1999 wrote:Aren't there effects that have a wider opening to go around the barrel?
All effects have 3mm holes, but some are also 5mm in total diameter. In short, you can use them either on 3mm pegs, or 5mm holes.

Minor correction, there are some that do have a 5 mm hole, but they're mostly impact ones, and the one that came with Blowpipe had an extra piece that could slide off and wrap around a 5mm post

That's a thing you can do, NOT buying the new figure? ... How does it work, can you teach me

The app notification was how I learned it was all in stock. I managed to snag Pipes, Slammer, Black Series Fennec and Migs, and Vintage Collection IG-11 for my Razor Crest that will soon be arriving.
Anyways, have some images.
SG Jetfire's blast effects are the same as the Arks, so Iaconus finally has a full proper matching set of blast effects! the ones from Tricranius went to SG Jetfire

Reeallly...Fascinating. I had not heard that rumor. Also It'd be great to get to get Metroshot (as an easy repaint of Siege Six Gun), and Now Metrotank from Kingdom Slammer. Even if we aren't getting Metrotitan, although I can see that would probably build up a lot of false hope especially after Black Roritchi was released, and then Black Zarak happened.
