A Lambo is just barely possible as a fire chief's fast-response car. I don't find it quiiite as much of a stretch as a Lambo being a patrol car (especially a Lambo with a supercharger - looking at you, Cordon). And making Red Alert a Fire Chief car did further distinguish him from Prowl, the police car the line already had (and the most realistic option amongst the Diaclone police-deco toys, because Japanese PDs actually did use Datsun Fairladies as patrol cars).Autobot N wrote:For "robots in disguise," the Autobots sure do have a lot of conspicuous alt modesDeathReviews wrote:I don't believe I have ever seen the chief of any fire department, tooling around in a custom painted Lamborghini.
Ooh, very interesting headcanon.Sabrblade wrote:Seeing how the Mutant Head looks more like a mask than a proper head unto itself, I just had an idea for how to headcanon this figure outside of its online bio backstory:
This could be what became of a Tigatron who really did quit the Beast Wars in "Law of the Jungle" and never rejoined the Maximals. The death of Snowstalker and the lack of receiving sympathy and convincing from Optimus hardened him to the point that he became something of a wandering protector of nature, an isolated creature who would strike down any who would do harm to the planet, his home, with little mercy. He'd show the Maximals some, but Predacons would be dealt without hesitation. The Mutant Head would represent a mask he'd wear to hide his face and inner shame behind his colder exterior that, ironically, is now colored to better match the wrath of Nature's Fury.
Similarly, T-Wrecks's mutant head was treated as a battle mask on his original toy's appearance in The Wreckers issue #2.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Somewhat related, I personally like to headcanon Optimus Primal and BW Megs' "mutant head" masks as war masks rather than actual mutant noggins.

Well, Takara did also use a Lambo as a police car in the Car Robots line back in 2000.chuckdawg1999 wrote:For what it's worth, I read years ago that back in the 80s Japanese Fire and Police commanders used sports cars for fast response times. Not sure if that still happens now.

I know a lot of fan consensus points to The Movie and beyond. As the moment when the "robots in disguise" motif was abandoned. But there were a lot of Questionable altmodes before that...

And have a couple of Iaconus with Megatron as well. I will continue to say Iaconus is my favorite Kingdom figure, period.
