I do still like what they did with Optimus Primal, but he was always going to be just an okay figure for me since you really can't do too much transformation-wise when all 4 gorilla limbs are also the same 4 bot limbs. I actually do appreciate what they did with the knees so that you can use either a 4 legged or upright posture in gorilla mode. Yes, they are probably more complicated than they need to be, but you really can't do too much else within the limits of the transformation.
Same. "Cosmetically somewhat more G1 in altmode" is not enough of an enticement for me, and I slightly dislike the new paldrons and the new blue chestplate section.TOO MUCH ENERGON! wrote:I already have Siege Magnus and while this new version is cool, it’s not different enough to warranty me shelling out the cash for another leader class figure.

It looked okay with the trailer. Both robot modes looked pretty good. The Kingdom one however, I feel let down. Whereas the Siege could be forgiven because "Cybertronian vehicle" (lazy but acceptable-ish), the Kingdom UM should have either been an extensive retool to fix the issues, or a new mold to fix the issues. It's already a parts-former, so they should have been able to make both modes good using the parts-forming, otherwise what is the point? I forgive parts-forming if it's used effectively. But when it's used and they still have those issues, it just feels pointless. I with they would have taken the ER/K Optimus Prime and painted him white, armored him up with a new trailer, and a little remolding. Would have been amazing.

IIRC, according to word from one or some of the leakers over on TFW a while back, that was originally the plan, but it wasn't quite in the budget, so they ended up just retooling the Siege mold.

Watched PrimevPrime's review of Ractonite the other day, a toy that I am very much looking forward to, as Paleotrex is absolutely amazing. While this is not the first review of this toy, He is the first to refer to this toy in the female gender. Now while I honestly don't care, as these are toys, what does puzzle me sometimes is if/how/why fans make things up. I mean most of Kingdom so far are characters from the past we are familiar with, but the fossilizers are new, and let's be honest, Hasbro hasn't really been putting a lot of effort into making Bio's lately. With packaging in multiple languages, you basically get a single sentence as to who this character is supposed to be.
Most of the time PvP doesn't have packaging to his toys (for obvious reasons), so I am curious to know is there official info online from Hasbro that refers to Ractonite as a Female? If so, then that is perfectly fine, I just don't like when people make stuff up that has no basis.

That is a really good question with what happened to ToyFair being pushed from Feb to May to October now in Texas and returning to New York next year. I would have expected wave 3 to be revealed at Toyfair if it was still in Feb, so a Fan First Friday is probably going to be how they end up doing it. I can't see them waiting much longer or the leaked production test items that TonTon and others like to review will beat them to it.

And I would not be angry if the eventual Tigatron is a straight up voyager upscaling of the mold. They did it well

My Pile of Loot iOS finally on its way to me. with Primal, Cyclonus, Cheetor and Paleotrex which were in the pile for a month almost.
Just waiting on Amazon to ship Dinobot and I would be happy.
Will likely pickup Ratrap and Airazor from regular retailer when I see them.

Amazon has my Primal and Megatron.
You will be waiting a while for Dinobot, Wave 2 isn't due until May there.
