Irrelevant. Because even with a full clear window, many QC bugs are still impossible to see.
2017 was a horrible year....

Not really irrelevant.... 2017 was probably the first year I really didn't get the short end of the stick with figures really. Although i did dodge a few that year due to being able to see a Prime with two left hands.

It's a placeholder date, they'll revise it as they get more information.
If Earthrise wave 3 is supposed to hit saturation in November though, it makes sense that the earliest Kingdom figures will start to show up in December, that's been the pattern before.

Wham! Bam! It's a dino jam!
Nemesis Primal wrote:-Polar Claw got cut and his Voyager slot was filled by Tigatron, originally Tigatron was just going to use Cheetor's Deluxe mold
-At least the sabertooth Fossilizer got cut, the status of the crocodile-looking one wasn't mentioned
-Dinobot's packaging markets him as a Predacon
King Kuuga wrote:Also, rumor mill apparently said that the Kingdom Commander Class figure is Magnaboss. Again, I have no idea how reliable this info is but I'm crossing my fingers. Magnaboss was my first ever combiner and he has not exactly aged well, so I'd love to see what they do with him after 24 years of engineering advancements.

Also, can someone please sight where it was confirmed some characters shown in the splash page had to be cut? (i.e. Polar Claw)
I mean I would like to see some non-show characters show up again, (especially Polar Claw) but I can understand why the decision was made. Still, you would think it would take little effort to just paint over any characters in the art for the marketing that got cut before it was released to the public?

Except with Covid, nothing this year schedule wise has really panned out the way it should have

YES I was hoping someone else would make this connection!! Haha!
And in fact, the way the Fossilizers are skeletons but with "filling" really makes them look a LOT like DinoZaurs.
Poly Wraith wrote:-I'm a pretty committed "hero characters" person (I'm just that way), so I for one find it disappointing to see Dinobot as a Predacon. I guess it makes sense because it DOES balance out the number of deluxe sized heroes vs. villains. He looks awesome in the packaging art and poster and I'm sure he'll be an awesome toy. Seeing as how changing sides was so integral to his story, and in fact in the original toyline he was a Maximal (before the show even aired) it seems like maybe this is either a mistake or else there will be some kind of "switcheroo" done by Hasbro somehow...like maybe his faction symbol is interchangeable or something...??>>

Oh man oh man...Magnaboss. That would be awesome. But so far looking at the track record for my hopes n' dreams VS. reality for this toyline...that just has to be a rumor...right? I can't have another expectation dashed! Lol. Most people think it'll be Rodimus and their reasoning seems to make sense.
It sucks how much stuff "makes sense" but yet actually isn't what I want to happen!! Lol

I mean, weren't waves 2 and 3 supposed to come out in August and September originally? November is already a delay.

Considering the current proof on the ER thread that Amazon is shipping figures starting tomorrow that Hasbro still has slated for November, I wouldn't bet on that necessarily being wrong.

Traditionally doesn't Hasbro usually put street dates on wave 1 of every line and major release? That's usually when people are most often denied sales it seems. I'm not saying they can't show up sooner and January 1st is usually the release window, but I'm more likely to believe the date on Hasbro's own store to be the most accurate. What we've been seeing with Earthrise is stuff coming in stock ahead of their expected arrival date, but that's different from a street date, when they're actually allowed to sell something. It's only a matter of a few months before we know for sure.

Yeah, but that means we have more Core Class figures than we have listings of now, because the Target listings said 6 Cores and we already had 6 accounted for between Rattrap, Optimus, Megatron, Starscream, Vertebreak, and the other rumored Fossilizer Dracodon. If some of the Cores were missing from that count and Soundwave is coming, who's to say we aren't missing some Deluxes too, and currently-missing characters like Tarantulas are coming as well?
I don't think that's inherently LIKELY to happen, mind you, since the number of Deluxes we have leaked would give exactly 4 Deluxes per wave for 4 waves, but it give some room to speculate.
