War for Cybertron Kingdom Discussion The Beasts Return!

Can't blame anyone for having both Tigatrons, that outdated box art is legendary. I think that if you're going to slip up on "one-molding", that guy and toy/comic Galvatron are two of the few cases in which it's undestandable.

I'm getting a fourth Kingdom Galvatron, I want that to be the exception rather than the rule, especially for a generally less popular character variant.
If a repaint happened, which it probably won't and is probably just wishful thinking on my part, you can just not buy it if you don't care for it, it's fine. And the existence of a dragon Megatron repaint probably wouldn't preclude the existence of a giant head Megatron, as new molds and repaints don't seem to share slots.
I do however think that both a Beast Machines repaint and a Megahead Megatron are extremely unlikely. But I'd personally like one, if we can have 4 Galvatrons for the G1 obsessed, we can have a couple dragon Megatrons for the Beast Wars compulsives.
I'm no longer getting a fourth Galvatron because all they did was remove the battle damage. Now that I'm 'one molding' it if they make Cryotek, that'll be my use of the mold for Dragon Megatron, no matter how many of him they do. It doesn't bother me any less though that there are now multiple repaints of figures that I feel 'compelled' to buy, regardless of what Generation they're from.
On the flip side, I did buy both versions of Tigatron.
I was being flip, and I don't begrudge anyone wanting multiple decoes. My preference would be a TM2 Megatron that eschewed strict toy/cartoon accuracy to Beast Wars to instead incorporate some Beast Machines elements, in particular the cape and robot mode head. I had both the TM2 and Voyager BM originals, and neither of them actually felt like the Beast Machines character. I think the best incarnation would unify both designs. And I agree with the view that a Beast Machines specific version with any design is very unlikely. There have been so few BM callbacks so it would be nice to get something.
Of course, I would trade all the Megatron designs in the world for a proper chunky six-wheeled Strika.

That we agree on. You just have to look at the thing for it to pop off. The overall design could have been better.

Ditto. They're similar enough that I don't think there's any need for two figures since they'd both be big red dragon Megatrons despite the kind of paint detail they use in the cartoons. Toy wise the decos are pretty much the same.

I'll admit, the chances of them doing anything Beast Machines related with Megatron are pretty slim, but a dual tribute would be nice.

I don't think Hasbro Pulse has shipped theirs out yet either, and I recall the date was pushed back to the 15th. I don't know where they are or what's taking so long, but I'm fine to wait. I'm not a global shipping logistics expert, and I'll get it when I get it, hopefully.

As it happens, I called Hasbro Pulse this morning to check on the Terrorsaur situation. I was told that stock finally came in yesterday, so they are prepping orders now for fulfillment. We can expect email confirmation of shipping by tomorrow.

My Terrorsaur also shipped, should be here Wednesday.
I would also like a Beast Machines dragon Megatron. The way I see it, the mold could get 3 uses following some classic mold use tropes:
use 1: TM2 Megatron
Selects Repaint with new head: Cryotek
potential release down the road in Legacy year 2: BM Megatron with retooled head and wings
I would love a Beast machines Megatron, that helmet design was so sweet

I'm surprised Wheeljack is getting repacked again, I mean yes it is a good toy and all, but why release it three times in three different lines? If they're going to do package refreshes, I'd say a toy from the later waves of Earthrise that many people couldn't get hold of like Sunstreaker or Trailbreaker would've been a better choice, or even one of the impossible-to-get exclusives from that time like Runabout or Ratchet.

I wouldn’t mind it if, like Galvatron, Wheeljack got some deco changes for Legacy, like brighter white plastic and blue tinted windows (and the correct racing number).

Totally agree...
I just posted in the Buzzworthy thread that I'll get Silverstreak now, and a big part of that (along with really like that mold and this new deco) is the fact that I never found Sunstreaker. Or Trailbreaker.
