Might have been speculation? not sure since there has been that many ideas thrown around since the Delorean/back to the future.

Nemesis Primal wrote:Apparently that particular list/screenshot came from 4chan, which already makes it questionable, but it also reeks of someone taking the stuff we know is coming, making up some fake pun names to be potential Fossilizers, grabbing Tracks because they're incredibly likely to show up somewhere, and smashing them all together and calling it a "leak". I don't even know what a "Mutant Rodimus" is supposed to MEAN....
That being said, if Tracks doesn't show up by the end of the trilogy, with Road Rage and hopefully Loudpedal in tow, I will be shocked.

I think the "Mutant Rodimus" is the person's guess at what the credible leaker's hint about Leader Rodumus being "contentious/divisive" (paraphrasing, forget the exact wording) in some way will mean, assuming it'll mean some kind of Beast Rodimus.
Personally, as much as a Beast Rodimus would be awesome, I don't think Hasbro's gonna be turning any G1 characters into Beasts, aside from possibly Optimus/Megatron. My guess is it's gonna be to G1 Rodimus what Earthrise Optimus was to G1 Optimus: a direct update of the play pattern, with an Optimus-height Rodimus figure with a "trailer" that turns into a battle station. It being "contentious/divisive" in my prediction is just the fact it'll probably be a tad bit cheap, like Earthrise Optimus' trailer admittedly was.

Somehow, I highly doubt we'll see an homage to the Mutants. Those, after all, were just a way to salvage investment in molds that had been developed for the stupid Animorphs line.Sabrblade wrote:Yeah, the credible leaker said that Rodimus has a trailer, so it'd be pretty weird for him to be a "mutant".
Unless... Unless it's some weird homage to Mutant Beast Wars in that Rodimus actually has no robot mode and transforms from vehicle mode to beast mode.
Core class, a new size class replacing the Micromasters, akin to the old Basic/Scout/Legends class size.M. Spector wrote:My biggest question is ..what's the Core prefix mean??

Nah, see, he's Byte Marx because of how, one morning, he bit a Maximal in his pajamas. How the Maximal got into Byte Marx's pajamas he'll never know.Munkky wrote:For the time being I'll say that 4Chan "leak" is fake, but I'll admit the name "Byte Marx" did make me laugh. Is he like Sky-Byte but instead of breaking out into poetry and haiku he quotes the Communist Manifesto?

Well, then how do we go from a Voyager Prime in ER to a Core Prime in Kingdom? Does Megatron find a shrink ray or something?

Apparently it's basically just so they can have a another new Optimus and Megatron without taking up a slot in a larger class.

Yeah, like, the DOTM toyline even had a Deluxe class Optimus when he towers over most other Autobots in the movies.aronjlove wrote:Jeddostotle7 wrote:aronjlove wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Core class, a new size class replacing the Micromasters, akin to the old Basic/Scout/Legends class size.M. I guess I just need to stopy worrying about each figure making sense in relation to the accompanying fiction. Sometimes it's just a tiny Optimus.

But the line also had a new-mold Voyager Optimus too.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:The Deluxe Optimus was to go with Voyager Sentinel and Megatron.

Indeed. But I think the Deluxe works a tad better.Sabrblade wrote:But the line also had a new-mold Voyager Optimus too.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:The Deluxe Optimus was to go with Voyager Sentinel and Megatron.

I just hope they have some sort of awesome paint apps to make them different. There will have been 3 Megatrons (and even more Primes) available before the core one. 4 if you count the 35th Anniversary version.
