Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.
Nemesis Primal wrote:Deathsaurus, IDW Thunderwing, Animated Lugnut, and Movie Blackout all come to mind as big Cons, but no one from Sunbow G1, that's for sure.

Pretty sure anyone who says they WOULDN'T want that is lying to themselves.Sentinel_Primal wrote:and Deathsaurus because I'd love for a big chunky murder chicken figure
Sentinel_Primal wrote:Also, I know Lugnut was depicted as big, but was he really that big? I thought he would be closer to PW Leader sized?

blackeyedprime wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:I have mixed feelings about the Core class. On the one hand, it'll be nice to have a smaller regular class again...
But on the other hand, it comes at the cost of the Battlemasters. And I was hoping to see those continue with some more money and effort invested into the gun ones.
Article rumor states its micromasters not battlemasters that are being dropped -which is even worse when it means micromaster teams will never be complete and makes the connectivity/bases forgotten.

And he's not a combiner. He's just a slightly-bigger-than-average guy (like Megatron) who happens to have three component altmodes.

TM2 Dinobot would be the perfect candidate for a familiar-character Fossilizer, yes.Sentinel_Primal wrote:So, the leaker who leaked Kingdom and Beast Wars has said that the Fossilizers are replacing Weaponizers, and based on instruction art, it looks like they have a "bony, or stone like" design. Which could theoretically mean we could see a Dinobot II homage in the deluxe class

Rodimus Prime wrote:Well, since we're speculating, and he has nothing to do with Beast Wars, how about we finally get a retail release Star Saber in the Commander Class slot?
What's this, now?blackeyedprime wrote:plus with it being potentially the last commander class figure

Yeah. Where's that coming from?

Sabrblade wrote:Yeah, but this line already has its main Autobot Leader in Rodimus Prime. Star Saber would be redundant to the story in that regard.
To paraphrase Optimus Primal from Beast Machines, "Does this team really need two leaders?"

Power of the Primes had 3 Leader characters with Rodimus, Optimus, and Optimal Optimus. Plus, they could recast Star Saber to a different role for the story, sorta like IDW, but less insanity. And Kingdom already has 3 Good Guy Leaders again with Voyager Optimus Primal, a Core class Optimus Prime, and Leader class Rodimus.
I don't think Star Saber would be that strange of an addition, especially as they already have the design work for a Leader Class Star Saber in their pocket. Just a bit of tweaking and I don't see why they couldn't release it for Kingdom

Having him and Vleo would be a cool symbolic representation of bot + beast
