Ok, So i am sure this has been talked about before or has been a topic, But i didnt see anything so here it is. What characters do you think will be in part 2. Im not talking about what characters you want in the movie. Im mean what characters would make sence to be in the film. For one i think that SKYWARP will be in it because he was going to be in part one. I am sure that starscream and skywarp will team up in the next movie, And i also think SOUNDWAVE will show up. How about you?

Soundwave - there's just to big of a demand for him by fans for him not to be in it. He will probably have a minion or three.

Shockwave - just a hunch. He's a really interesting character.

Kup - Bay said there would be an old-timer and the story probably won't be deep enough to include someone like Alpha Trion.

Jetfire/Skyfire - The Autobots need a flyer. Probably don't want to use Silverbolt since all of the other Aerialbots won't be there. That didn't stop them with Brawl/Devastator though. Jetfire/Skyfire is probably more popular among fans than Springer and Powerglide.

I think Wheeljack also has a pretty realistic shot of being in the next movie. Same with Ultra Magnus. The ones I listed above are the ones I feel strongly will be in the movie, however.

Hard to say, but Soundwave has a very high chance of being in it.

Megatron left loyal soliders behind, so Starcsream might have a mutiny on his hands. Soundwave is extremely loyal to Megatron.

Bays "new Species" could include Ravage, laserbeak.

As for autobots, think of which character could survive.
Brawn might be in it. prowl, wheeljack, arcee(fan service like SW)
Hot rod and Kup(probably under a differnt name) could be in too.

Difficoult to say. personally I don't think we are going to be seeing that many revamps o G1 TFs. prol more new ones.

First, the Decepticons:
I really hope that Megatron isn't in TF2.
I'm hoping that the plot will center around Starscream trying to take over the Decepticons, while some of the more "loyal" D-Cons try to find and rebuild Megatron.
(Just think... they could build him bigger, better, faster and make Galvatron.)

I really want to see Starscream at his full potential.
Wouldn't mind seeing Scorponok come back and get an alt mode.

But here's a real one for Michael Bay, if he's listening: Nightbird.
Picture it... Humans attempt to recreate Transformer technology, only to accidentally create a Decepticon.

Now the Autobots:
Ultra Magnus.
Hands down, my only real preference.
I want to see Ultra Magnus in all his glory in TF2.

Arcee could show up in TF2, and it wouldn't hurt my feelings.
I mean, they've already got her designed... why not use her?
Same goes for Landmine.

Other than that, I'd just like them to flesh out Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Jazz, Ratchet, and Bumblebee.
In that order.
If they bring back Jazz.
Which I hope they do.

I don't know if this is a hint or not, but I thnik most characters they make the "extra" movie toys ( like cliffjumper) out of won't be in the sequel.

I highly doubt that BAY will make TF2 without megatron returning. I dont think that they would just kill him off and make starscream the main character. That would be stupid, And michael bay is a good director so he wouldnt do that. If anything, I would love to see starscream try to rule the decepticons and megatron comes back and kills him for trying to over throw his command.

But in all seriousness, I hope they don't just miraculously bring back Megatron the way he was.
I think he should get the bigger/badder treatment a la Galvatron.
Even if he doesn't become Galvatron per se.

Of course I could see this whole thing being turned into a trilogy.
Part 2 has the D-Cons looking for Megatron, and it ends with Megatron's optics firing up as an ill omen.
Part 3 opens with Megatron bursting from the ocean and killing Starscream.

But hey, that's just me.

I would definately say Soundwave! I think if GM does all the vehicles again or most of them you might see Tracks as a vette or a couple more cars Sideswipe or Sunstreaker. Also maybe Jetfire. Decepticons would have to be Skywarp or Thundercracker and maybe some from other series instead of G1.

I'm hoping to see Wheeljack in TF2 as well as Shockwave in his sick triple changing body from the Game. Ultra Magnus(NOT A PRIME REPAINT!), Soundwave and Cyclonus would be nice additions too.

Well i veiwed a fake but interesting leaked movie script for the next movie. It showed that the Constructicons, Soundwave, Hot Rod, Ultra Mangus, and a whole lot of other ones, but it was leaked and fake because it didn't metion any of the former Autobots from the first movie. I would hope for new Autobots and Decepticons. I would like to see Hot Shot, Hot Rod, and Wheel Jack. For the Decepticons I would imagine that Starscream went to Cybertron to get other Decepticons, but if you think about the cartoon version I would guess that Starscream wouldn't try to revie Megatron because he would love to be in the same position as he would, but I would expect Starscream to mobilize more Decepticons in TF2 and also would think that something with Glavatron and Unicron would occur. if anyone agrees with me just message me about it.

I hope mostly for Grimlock and Soundwave. Other than that it'd be cool for Ultra Magnus, the Cassetes, and Shockwave. I think Cliffjumper and Arcee have a good shot at it since they already have plenty of merchandise.

The characters that will be in TF2?

Soundwave: definitely. Many fans (including me) want him in the movie... He's just cool.

Shockwave: Probably in the same appearance as in the game.

Skywarp and Thundercracker: The Decepticons need muscle, and these two jets can do it.

Jazz: He will be resureccted, maybe?

Arcee: They have all the designs and art for her, so why not use her?

Jetfire: The Autobots need aerial support. Seriously.

The Constructicons: They have designs for Scrapper and Mixmaster in the game, and Bonecrusher is in the movie already. So why not go one step further and include the whole team?

Laserbeak: If they include Soundwave, they also must include Laserbeak.

Wheeljack and Prowl: Don't know, I just like them.

just curious why odes everyone want G1 characters? To be honest I'de rather have all new characters. Jetfire would be nice but a new flyer would be good too.

I don't know. His death seemed pretty pointless to begin with. I had started a thread based on this idea, which is dead now, but my main point was that Jazz's death lacked any real emotional effect since he had no character development anyway. It's kind of like when you hear about people dying on the news. You feel kind of bad about it, but unless you know them you're not really upset.

Based on that, I don't think bringing Jazz back would be that big a deal. Bay could hack together some cockamamie plot to make it happen, and most people wouldn't bat an eyelash.

On the subject of Jazz, I read once that they wanted to kill one of the Autobots so the Decepticons seemed meaner or something. They killed Jazz because Optimus and Bumblebee were to important and Jazz would be missed more than Ratchet or Ironhide would have, so I think his death did have a point.

I also want to add that triple-changers would be cool in the new movie, Astrotrain, Blitzwing, etc.

the problem with the triple changers would be the scale between modes.

I presonally think the Decepticons will be broken into factions this time, probably five per the rival groups and three in the loyalist.

Starscream's faction:
Starscream (it's a given. F-22 Raptor)
Bombshell (not an Insecticon but some sort of war machine)
Blitzwing (A Russian MIG that turns into some Russian Tank and a robot. he'd be the only triplechanger in the film)
Vortex (Probably make him a Black Hawk or perhaps a V-22 Ospray)
Thrust (As long as he's a VOTL)

Shockwave's Faction:
Shockwave (Some sort of Alien Flying cannon as to get away with him being a laser cannon for an alt mode. Shockwave never really took an Earth mode. So they can get away with it here.)
Skywarp (make him an F-117 Stealth)
Breakdown (Some race car to cause havok in street racing and act as a recon unit to keep tabs on the Autobots)
Onslaught (an armored transport outfitted for combat)
Sixshot (okay I'm going out on the loop here but he wouldn't be a six-changer, perhps something with a crapload of wepons he can use in robot mode)

The Loyalist Faction (those loyal to Megatron)
Soundwave (Laserbeak and Ravage serve as special ops drones much like Scorponok was) (His alt mode owuld be some sort of combat Truck)
Tidalwave (The Aircraft Carrier. The perfect cover to locate and retrieve Megatron's body from the Laurenchian abyss. Tidal wave would also be able to tank the Sabo's.)
Barricade (Same form as before but regroups with Soundwave when Soundwave comes to Earth looking for Megatron.
Megatron: Not sure what kind of mode to give him but he won't be in a good mood when he is revived. However his alt mode needs to be something to accomodate his size and firepower

Autobots:

Optimus Prime (unchanged)
Bumblebee (updated to the latest Camaro model)
Ironhide (Same as before but updated model)
Ratchet (Same as before)
Arcee (Keep the unused motorcycle form)
Ultra Magnus (A Flatbed Truck with car carrying trialer that combines to make one large robot (seriously this would ame a killer toy for Magnus if done properly))
Jetfire (Gives the Autobtos aerial cover)
Mirage (I can just see them doing him for some reason. His mode owuld porbably be some race car but not an F-1 since he'd be too small) I'd pick Mirage to kick the bucket this time. But doing something heroic.
Prowl (Prime could use a strategist this time. He'd be a cop car of another model with brighter colors to distinguish him from Barricade. Sam could probably mistake him for Barricade.)

As for triplechangers, Blitzwing is the only one viable for the films since his alt modes were usualy large in G1. but his robot mode doesn't have to scream G1. A nod here or there in details would be nice.
