There could be some interesting plot twists that could be worked in with a couple of the Decepticon triple changers. Blitzwing and Octane were both fierce fighters that had questionable loyalty. I think one of them could be worked into the movie, preferably Blitzwing. I don't think we'll see Blitzwing as a triple changer though, just some type of jet.

Easy answer. It is G1 based. The DVD states it several times. This Paramont/Dreamwork series is G1 based with herbs and spices. There are many different versions of Transformers, but G1 is THE version. It is what it is. New characters is a bad idea. Fans have TOO MANY characters that they know and love.

Example: You can't do a Batman movie without Robin/Joker/Riddler/Cat Woman/Penguin/Mr Freeze. You can't just create a new villain...well you CAN, but it would suck!! Its like making a new Batman and his alter ego is NOT Bruce Wayne. There are versions of Batman were Bruce Wayne is an old man or where Batman is not Bruce Wayne at all. And those comics/cartoons are just alternatives not the norm.

What you and few other annoying posters are requesting is the ALTERNATIVE version of Transformers. The Alternative is not what should made into the movies. Beast Wars/Beast Machines/Cybertron/etc...Those are not the norm. G1 IS the norm. IT IS THE STANDARD, and many of you fans need to be aware of this.

Yes Micheal Bay made changes, but so did Tim Burton & the guys who did the X-Men & Spiderman flicks. They made a few changes to the norm. Cool, but it is still THE NORM and NOT THE ALTERNATIVE!!

Do your homework people, (and I'm meaning everyone not just MrBond) Transformers is not as old as Superman, Batman & Spiderman, but that is no reason to be ignorant to the facts. Its ok to recreate, but the recreations is not the actual creations. Prime is not a friggin monkey and Megatron is not a shark.........

I think TF2 should have Soundwave, Skywarp, 2 of the conheads, 2 of Soundwave's minions. Thats 6 new D-cons

Also Arcee, Cliffjumper, Perceptor & Wheeljack. Thats 4 new Autobots.


I predict many casualties in TF2, not exactly sure who. Jazz should remain dead. Kill off some of both sides to make room for more Transformers in TF3. Hasbro loves the idea of killing off to create new toys. Just make the deaths make sense and Ill be a happy fan. I don't care who they kill off. We know they will all be back in another series down the line.
