Just went to gallery's to look at Scourge for a second. I forgot there was a Nemesis Big Convoy. The one I have is an all black and gold Takara release I picked up in a weird shop in L.A., golly, 8 to 10(?) years ago. Did you know that one exsists?
Nemesis was the only US release, right?
Well, pre Ultra Mammoth. Who I think is hilarious and awesome BTW.

Hey! I actually just brought him a month ago.(need to update my sig) Thanks for the warning I haven't touched him too much just transformed to Bot mode. I count all Scourges! =D I'm sure I'm still missing a lot of black primes.... there's just so many. Robot master Black Convoy is one. Also the other one would be the Black fire Convoy... so yea.. hahaha

Be careful with the ball joints that hold his beast head!!!!!!!

I've thought about having a Megatron display as well many times over the years, but the one thing that's put me off is his ever changing look.

Optimus Prime/Convoy has for the most part, had a consistent look. Megatron however has not only had different alt modes, he's had different colours. Set them all up and they would just look like a bunch of different characters.

The only Decepticon who could have a display similar to Optimus Prime is Starscream (and subsequently have him with Skywarp and Thundercracker)

That's why he usurped is used as a stand-in for Movie Megatron on my Deluxe Leader Shelf

I avoid buying Optimuseses in the first place.
I do have a bunch of Legends/Cyberverse Movie Primes... they're all in the "should probably do something with these" bin. I also have that Deluxe Prime, but mostly because he's in scale with Bonecrusher, Brawl, DotM Megs, and some other Cons.

Here's a question for you guys: how many of you actively collect the clear Primes? Like Clear Henkei, ML Crystal or Sons of Cybertron? I only have one: Prime Shining Optimus Prime, at the insistence of my wife. She loves shiny and clear plastic

I almost brought a Henkei Crystal Convoy for like 85 bucks on Ebay! ahh but I chickened out cause I don't really collect clear primes. right now I only have the Prime Shining Optimus Prime as well.

Oh Cobotron sorry I didn't get a chance to take a pic of my Black Prime collection yet, I figured I should wait until my Lawson Darkside Prime comes first so I can include him in there. Should be this weekend! =D

Can I speak here since I only have 3? WFC Prime is now Nemesis in black so I won't count him.

I have two shelves full of primes. I only collect domestic releases and a single example of each mold...(sometimes) That keeps down the size but...yeah..it's a lot. I currently have 5 display shelves in my closet and need more.

Oh man, I would love to find that Crystal Prime. I miss the old iMac days of over use of translucent plastics. The Microman stuff from the early 2000's was the best. Y'all can throw rotten tomatoes at me, but its why i like Beast Machines.

I don't go out of my way for them, I know I have one. Have a feeling there may be others though.

Is it bad that even though I have only one, I have rules for clear figures? One per incarnation, which seems easy enough:

- Clear God Fire Convoy (CR)
- Clear Henkei Convoy (G1)
- ML Crystal Convoy or Clear Galaxy Convoy (+ Sonic Bomber) (UT)

I'm skipping the Movie and Animated (seriously, RotF Leader in all clear?!), but any suggestions for BW Primal?

Hm... I haven't actually got that many.
I've got Cybertron Leader-class Optimus, ROTF Leader-class Optimus, G1 Optimus Prime, an Armada leader Optimus that I'm turning into a Nemesis Prime to bolster my Decepticon ranks, and an Energon Optimus Prime trailer that I don't want. I keep them on a shelf in my closet when not playing with them, which is what I tend to do. They're fun to transform, and to have blast and hit my Decepticons. Cybertron Optimus gets the most playtime because I find every last mode to be pure win, plus it's my favorite series. I've also got both Wing Saber and Leobreaker for him to combine with, and that's always fun. ROTF Leader Optimus is currently out, and will be until I get the rudimentary trailer I'm making for him done, or at least enough so to roll.

As for licking, I've sometimes done that to get dust off. Tastes awful, of course.

I have Movie and Classics figures divided into different scales with an OP and Megatron in each. For the extras that don't fit there I have a shelf full of them.

How did I miss this thread until now?

Well, first of all, my 2006 Voyager Classics Optimus Prime is on display with my other "Ark Crew" Classics Autobots:



Then I have two other whole shelves of Optimus Primes, one shelf that is distinctly G1 based Optimus Primes:



And another that are Optimi that (mostly) are different iterations of G1 or G2 Optimus Prime (with a few Prime ones thrown in because, why not?):



(The above photos are slightly outdated, as I have added one or two more to my collection since they were taken.)

If I had more room, I have a plethora of other Optimuses from Armada, Cybertron, Animated, and the Bayverse that altogether would likely fill at least two more shelves the size of those above... but alas, those ones are in storage at the moment.

Reexamining the question of "What does everyone do with all of their Optimus Prime toys?" beyond the simple answer of how I display them, I also transform them from time to time. I also like to write reviews of them, enough that my Transformers toy review website has a dedicated "Optimus Prime" section.

Oh, and there was also that time that I used my extremely rudimentary picture editing skills to help one of my Optimus Prime toys (the domestic version of MP-10) star in a remake of Citizen Kane:
