Okay hear me out. Over the years there's been so many Optimus Prime toys offered to us, what do you do with it after that new toy feeling is over and you have no place for it in your collection.

Myself for instance only collect Masterpiece and Classics and over the years I've brought so many Optimus Primes that doesn't work with my displays that I've now have a shelf full of Optimus Primes. Needing space I'm Probably going to get rid of them one way or another. Anyway just curious what do you do with your 100s of Optimus Primes? Display them all? Storage? something else more creative?

I have 20 different Prime from different continuities. I have them all on display, taking up 3 shelves on a bookcase.

Yea basically that is what I have going on too but I collect Black Primes... so I think its time for me to get rid of my prime display

Then you should have it easier, there aren't nearly as many Nemesis Primes as there are regular Primes.

It's easier and harder as the Black primes are all much more expensive. Going back and getting the ones I missed has not been fun. Everyone of them is over $100 bucks. Just got the Lawson DOTM Darkside Optimus Prime cost me $99 bucks.

I can't think of any Primes I might have that is any special or rare, still wavering over selling MP4

I'd put them all on display!

With the amount I have already, no easy feat. What does help that I separate main versions (Leader and Voyager), Deluxes, and Spychanger/Legends/Cyberverse, and limit the amount to one or two per Size Class per line

I'm still looking for repaints to fill my Expanded Universe shelf, believe or not. My repainted troops need a leader :lol:

Toilet paper dispenser, kitchen utensil holder, leveling a wobbly end table, door stop, back scratcher, tire iron, book ends, guitar stand, spare roller skate, grocery bag caddy, etc.
Man, they are useful little guys!

Just playin'. I would never do that. Maybe back scratcher. when you got an itch, sometimes you gotta improvise.

I'm real choosy about my Primes. I learned a valuable lesson long ago. How many Batmans does one man really need? Had I known then what I know now, no Batmans. Could of had more TFs.

Technically, in Galaxyforce, Metroplex was Megalo "Convoy". If that continuity considers him a Prime...........

**** you can never have enough primes... just ordered BAPE MP-10 and evangelion MP-10... they will go with my takara mp-10, MP-10B, Hasbro MP-10 and YOTH MP-10. that doesn't include the 30 or so I own from other lines.

You can tell who's on staff and who isn't..

In slightly more serious comments, I used to have them all in the UK, but have only really kept MP and the LeGen one, rest are in Italy as display piece.

Same thing I do with my other TFs: display them or store them. I only have one from each line, so it's not a big deal.

My only Optimus-only (well, "Leader", I have at least a 'Con counterpart) display is the Deluxe Shelf near my desk:

- Classics Deluxe Optimus Prime
- RtS Leader Optimus Prime (looking for the United version)

- Beast Machines Deluxe Optimus Primal
- Cybertron Jungle Planet Optimus Prime (looking for the original grey one)
- Robot Masters Lio Convoy (metallic)

- Armada Super-Con "Bendy" Optimus Prime with Over-Run
- Energon Deluxe Optimus Prime

- Movie Protoform Optimus Prime
- DotM Deluxe Optimus Prime

- Alternity Convoy Vibrant Red

Still need the Animated, Prime and BW Telemocha Deluxes to fill them out. All my other big Primes are in storage, but I plan on putting them in the regular collections.

Funny you were talking about Black Prime or Nemesis Primes. I have some (Hybrid Style, Car Robots Black Convoy, RiD Spychanger Scourge) but I don't have a section for them, nor do I have one planned.

I don't really have that display any longer, and the one in Italy is Classics Deluxe, G2/G1 Reissue, FoC Deluxe, RtS G2 standing on top of a bookshelf. Voyager FE Prime is with the Prime figures, movieverse (Voyager HftD) with movieverse.

Does Armada Powerlinx Optimus count as a "Black Convoy?" I know there's a deluxe Nemesis Prime, and Powerlinx Optimus is very dark blue and not actually black, but it's the closest to a Black Convoy. So maybe not officially, but could he be considered a Black Convoy just on a fan's shelf?

Not sure about others but I personally would not put it in my black prime collection. Just like I don't count 07 Movie leader Night watch Optimus Prime Or the Gray Bathing Ape.

Just curious who count these and do display them with the rest of their Black prime collections?

I see you are looking for Black Big Convoy. Don't know if you're familiar with this mold, but it is FRAGILE! Mine broke, but luckily he can still be displayed. Is he your only missing Black Prime? Good luck on your hunt!

Does Scourge count as a black Prime? Because on my shelf he is all up in everybody else's business.

Hey! I actually just brought him a month ago.(need to update my sig) Thanks for the warning I haven't touched him too much just transformed to Bot mode. I count all Scourges! =D I'm sure I'm still missing a lot of black primes.... there's just so many. Robot master Black Convoy is one. Also the other one would be the Black fire Convoy... so yea.. hahaha
