How about if Movie 3 was a Beast Wars movie? Like, it takes place on Cybertron, the leader of the Predacons is Magmatron, leader of the Maximals is like Apelinq or Leo Prime, and the two factions go back in time to when The Fallen built the pyramid and Harvester? The Predacons would try to wipe out humans so NEST will never be formed, and the Maximals try to stop the Preds? And the whole time they're trying to stop the Predacons, they also have to keep The Fallen from building the Harvester and try to keep the Great War from happening!

Any thoughts?

while I do enjoy beast wars I really don't want a movie of it. Imao it just isn't good movie material.

On one hand, if they were to do that, you have the right idea for plot line.

On the other, It doesn't fit with Bay to do something of that nature, and by diverting into what for most of the general public would be confusing storyline that wouldn't make sence, it would downgrade it's box office appeal.

Thus the third movie will be more of what the first two were. Big explosions, glory shots of the military, and questionable reinterpretations of the existing lines, to fit plot requirements.

Yeaaa no. Beast Wars would just confuse other people. By which i mean, non-Transfan movie goers. Here's my idea...

Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, and Barricade escape into space to find surviving decepticons. Meanwhile, it is revealed that The Fallen was not in it for his race, but wanted energon for his master... UNICRON!!
Meanwhile... the autobots are no longer secret as The Fallen told the EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN FRONT OF A SCREEN about the Transformers. The government can't hide the Autobots anymore, and the true events of mission city are revealed. Optimus makes public speeches, and Ironhide becomes the NRA's mascot. Then the unthinkable happens... Megs returns with an army. After many battles, the people are fed up with their war. Then, unicron appears in the solar system, and NASA picks him up. The Autobots and Decepticons must team up to defeat him, but first they must figure out HOW THE SLAG THEY ARE GOING TO DO IT?

Not to nitpick, but it's been stated that unicron is one of the elements of transformers that the movies would not use.

Calm down, no need to get all emo.

They have simply said the there are certain concepts that Bay doesn't like and as such the writers aren't to try and work with such as the Dinobots and Unicron.

But seeing in you seem to want to call people out and use names in a fit of nerdrage when they simply state published details, i'll call your bluff.

-- The governments of the world will again cover up the existence of the cybertronions and the events of the movies.
-- NEST will be expanded and continue to work with the Autobots as more arrive on Earth and are dispersed around the globe to hide and wait in case of continued Decepticon aggression.
-- Sam, Leo & Mikela will be seconded to NEST under the watch of a reinstated Simmons.
-- As Soundwave continues to monitor the Earth, more Decepticons will find their way to Megatron and demand answers to why the Allspark is gone and how the Autobots could have defeated the Fallen, a Power struggle develops, with another faction (Darkwing?) casting Megatron and some followers out before starting a massive Decepticon strike against the Earth. Major fights break out at Urban centers across the planet, as the Autobots in hiding attempt to stop them.
-- In the battle around NEST HQ, while Prime struggles against the new leader, Megatron appears, assists his "brother" allowing the battle to end.
-- Megatron takes his Decepticons to hunt the remaining Renegades who flee the planet at the end leaving Earth to the Autobots and humans.

How's that?

Well, I must say, you should be one of the writers for the 3rd movie!
Except instead of Darkwing overthrowing Megs, What if it was Starscream? They should give Screamer a taste of triumph! :-?

In most continuities I would agree with you, but Movie Screamer just doesn't seem right for that role. ANd most of the other pretenders to the decepticon throne either don't fit (Deathsaurus) or like Bludgeon & Scorpinok have already been written into the movieverse and altered.

Darkwing was a shot to put the name there, honestly the "rival" role could go to any number of possibles, be it DW, Overlord, Black Zarak, or hell even Cy-Kill or Bug-Bite.

bay doesn't like some concepts, and doesn't want them in a movie.

bay doesn't like alot of things he didn't want in a movie, like mass shifting (like what the Allspark does in the first movie to become so convieniently portable, and the only way Frenzy could transform into a cellphone, even if it was just his head) cybertronian spaceships (Nemisis in the 2nd movie), bay doesn't even like TRANSFORMERS!!! and he's made two movies 'about' them

You ain't a godmaster for nothing, bro. Thing is, under Bay's directing, much of that good storyline's bound to get badly cut up, and the characters would probably be relegated to "eye candy" status.

Plot development simply does not play well in Bay's hands.

Heck, he doesn't even handle epic scenes well. The so-called "Decepticon legions" in ROTF looked like a tiny squads at best. I was expecting swarms of protoform bots overwhelming the cities, or something similarly large-scale. Maybe the CG budget ran out.

Well, sadly I dont see a Beast Wars movie actually working because baring in mind the bay films take references from all previous TF series including BW so there would pretty much be no point in a Beast Wars film really.
