What should be my first Voyager?
What should be my first Voyager?

To be honest, I'm really leaning towards Starscream. But the thing is, I really dislike his Jet form. it seems the bottom is really bulky! A real F-22 Raptor is very slick and thin and not bulky at all. I know Hasbro cant make toys perfect, but I think they should have just made the whole jet longer, so that they can fit the bulk of his body INSIDE the jey, isntead of sticking out from the bottom.
Anyways, any suggestions or something?

Save Starbrick...I mean Starscream for last. I'm sure he will be clogging up the pegs until the next movie comes out. It's sad tho because I really want a Starscream and thats the only one readily available. But its a brick with wings and cannon hands.
Argh,

yea, definitely a good figure, ratchet's transformation can be mastered quickly, not too hard, and its a solid figure once in robot robot mode, the hand axe feature is cool. i have ironhide, ratchet, starscream, and blackout, i would suggest u get starscream or ratchet first, either one u can get ur hands on, after that ironhide, and finally if u really want all the movie characters get blackout, but if u just want a couple of toys and dont care about collecting them all u can just forget about blackout

But just to be contrary, I reccomend Robo-Vision Prime if you can still find him. He's not as special as either of the 'cons, but he's a nice solid figure with a good paint job and no glaring flaws. So, not really just to be contrary. But still, Robo-Vision Prime.

Cliffnotes version: He sucks. My only regret. (yeah, I even have Jazz)
But Ironhide I do enjoy. He's not perfect and he can kinda be a pain, but he's tough looking with both those cannons pointed out from his arms. He is posable, it just takes a bit of fidgeting. He makes a snazzy looking truck too, except the shortened stacks. And he looks really good and mostly in scale next to my leader Prime.
I'm probably gonna get Blackout eventually, as he looks cool in alt form, and it'd be nice to have him finally.
I don't get all the fuss over starscream. he looks retarded both ways to me. he's truly an ugly design, his character is annoying in just about every incarnation, yet he gets a cult following. Weird. And the toy is quite bulky and unconvincing as a Raptor.

For those of you who said Ironhide... do you HAVE Starscream as well? Im debating between the two.
Honestly, I think that Starscream most will give me my money's worth, since he's the biggest.
Hi guys, anyway I have been browsing this forum for quite some time so decide to register as a member. Been laszy to register. I have Ironhide, Starscream and Ratchet. I will say Ironhide is the best of the lot.
Ironhide- Complex transformation and cool detailed bot design. Quess Hasbro has put lots of efforts in this toy so he has money'sworth. BTW, people who said has difficulty working his automorph, the instruction is wrong. Always use his feet to pull down or up. Mine has no problems whatsoever.
Starscream- Simple, Involved transformation and less detailed bot mode. He feels like a plain brick to me just as Raymond has said.I don't undestand why you said you get your money's worth just because he is bigger or has bigger chunks of wasted plain plastic?? I don't think he is worth $19.99 compared to 08 BB! I see value by considering how much stuff Hasbro has put into a toy, not by how much plastic Hasbro has used.
Ratchet- Simple unqiue transformation and detailed bot mode. But he doesn't have any unique feature or "X-factor" that warrant his value of $19.99. He is worth less than that.

He's chunky and blocky, he's honestly too big, especially next to Ironhide, he's quite ugly in design (not color, actually like that), and he looks nothing at all like his movie self. Most of the figures do look something like the movie versions, but Ratchet has barely any discernable features that say he's from a modern movie with new generation bots. He makes a more interesting Hummer then he does robot.

what?? i think ratchet is a good looking toy, in my opinion i think he did look like his movie counter part, one thing i did like about Blackout is the fact that if u also have deluxe scorpinok u can attach it to the bottom of blackout when he's in helicopter mode, of course it looks way out of scale but looks cool and pretty deadly with a huge scorpion hanging of the heli.

Ratchet looks good exactly as a toy, with no merit as a good figure IMO. As far as looking like he did in the movie, about the only thing that I can think of is the Hummer front grill (which is upside down on the toy, right side up in the movie). Otherwise he's just a big green turd with extremely stocky legs, funky arms, poor "automorph" features, and that ugly head.
His alt form isn't even that good. They totally ignored his back end. No tail lights, no rear windows, no door frames. Nothing. The split rear bumper is a joke, mine won't line up to the other side and it's warped a bit so it sticks out.
As a toy, he looks like the one that can take a beating from a 7 year old though, but he's just so bland and flat in so many places that I just hate him.
