If you don't get to the stores much, you're basically going to be limited to only a few choices, anyway: whatever they happen to have in stock.

Which line? Prime, Generations, or the movie line?
I was thinking ether the movie line or generations.
I really should get out to the stores more often...

I just picked up Robots in Disguise TF Prime Voyager Megatron at Walmart tonight, and I'm finding his articulation top-notch. He has a little bit of back kibble that lays flat against his back and panels can be moved in a couple different ways. His shoulderpads inhibit a bit of his shoulder movement though. From the waist down, he has the articulation/feel of a good Transformers Animated figure. He also has fanFREAKINGtastic lightpiping. Put a light behind him and he glows with Dark Energon. Alt mode leaves something to be desired, but I'm planning to keep him in robot mode on display most of the time.

If you're interested in the movie line, then you're in luck as I see Walmart and Target discount their surplus DotM figures frequently. I think the DotM line had some really impressive molds, but their smaller size, redundancy (we didn't need new molds of Jolt, Mudflap, Skids, a terrible voyager Prime, and another leader Bumblebee!), and lack of paint apps (I plan on getting around to painting mine anyways) turned a lot of people off. Still, the ones worth buying are...
Deluxe
Bumblebee (best movie BB mold yet, but shameful lack of paint apps)
Barricade (big improvement over the '07 mold)
Sideswipe (great mold, but again, lack of paint is shameful)
Roadbuster (fun figure if you can ignore his giant backpack kibble)
Topspin (damn near perfect)
Voyager
Ironhide (the best movie IH mold there is with almost no kibble)
Leader
Sentinel Prime (some are turned off by his complex transformation, but I enjoy it)
All of the Generations figures look worth picking up except for some of the obscure characters. Wish I had the money to collect more than one line.
