I've been having a lot of fun today creating a back story for my team and giving my bots quotes. I'd been putting it off because I was trying to remember my old team's back story but after I gave that up it became a lot of fun creating a new one.

I'm sure there's a lot of you out there who've come up with some great stories and I'm sure there's probably already a thread for this but post a link here to share them with the rest of us!

Nice work. Always good to see someone put some imagination into their minions, would love to have the time to read a lot more peoples stories here - some of the bios here here are awesome.

Mine is here, I'll warn you though, it's a much darker tone than yours (im a huge horror fan) although if you check out the charcter Bio's you'll find them a bit more lighearted. (Psychout, Mal Practce, Nemesis Wheelie and the Cheerleaders anyway)

Yeah its pretty much built around a rivalry with Rolltide working in opponents to one of your guys backstory makes it fun

Discussing team backstories I see. Well, I've only gone through four or five over three iterations of my team (Primal Ragers/Beast Legion/Retribution).

So the team's backstory is mentioned discussed here, but you'll note the lack of details. Those show up in the bios of my namesake, Gigabite, Chillwind, Flamedance and Gorebash.

At some point I really should finish off the rest of team's bios to bring them in-line with those.

Oh, and there's this bit that I never included in the team bio but is "canon" for the team.

I knew Retribution were trouble.

I was asked to investigate the unit by members of the Autobot High Council, due to concerns regarding their wayward tendencies. No one believes that they would defect, but it is clear they do not hold with all of the High Council’s policies.

Leo Prime was willing to submit their official file, as shown.

Unit MX-Delta 21-A “Retribution”
*Details Classified.*

That’s it. There is no other data regarding them that I have been able to access on official servers. The unit is designated MX, which means they fall under Leo Prime’s “Maximal” programme. 21-A is unit number with the A signifying Auxilliary. Technically speaking, by this designation the unit are not a frontline combat unit. Of course, given the units tactics that makes a degree of sense. However, the lack of other data available is worrying.

And it is not just the unit entry that is missing. There is no sign of any requisition forms for equipment or a garrison assignment. The unit operates out of nowhere, it seems.

It gets worse. There is no trace of any of the unit aside from Gorebash prior to the squad’s inception. None of them exist. No one can pin point where or when Gigabite was constructed, worrying given the resources necessary to construct a Transformer of that size. There are plenty of rumours, but no hard data prior to the unit’s first operations. Leo Prime somehow acquired this squad from nowhere.

I am continuing this investigation as and when time permits given my other duties. A unit like this, even a classified unit, leaves more of a trace.

I only got around to writing one for my namesake Wrath. A few players wrote up some bios for a tourney that JP ran a couple years ago. Wish I could remember what site has them all though.

I'm in the process of rewriting mine along with coming up with decent ones for my other characters. Here is the one Jeep helped me come up with.

Wow I’m amazed at the level of work on the teams and their characters.
I think I probably write on a 9th grade level so I’m a little intimidated to put my characters stories down. So far I’ve only pulled bios from existing characters like Cliffjumper, or mythology, like Chrysoar. But that’s just plagiarism and leads to a team of random robots.
I wrote Kimber’s from scratch which has lead to additional ideas on how to form a cohesive team. I have had fun making cheesy quotes; I used to love how the old transformers and GIJoe mottos would mimic historic quotes! http://www.seibertron.com/heavymetalwar ... p?id=39331
