Hi all

ok ... just seen the new movie ROTF , I have a question . What the hell happened to Wheelie in the movie ??? one minute we see him in Egypt at the door entry , then thats it ??? he just disapears
for the rest of the flick ?? :roll:

have i missed something ??

As for your question, only Orci and Kurtzman know. He just got swallowed in one of the black holes scattered throughout the plot.

He probably just kept his head down and stayed out of the way once all the big bots started stomping around.

Yeah, just like everybody else who technically couldn't do a darn thing in the fight. Like all the civilians who were in the town before the fight started.

well ... i just thought that after some very funny scenes , Bay could have at least used Wheelie for something in the end , or shown what the hell happened to him ? - lol . Anyway , i still enjoyed the flick , just spotted a few little inconsistencies with some of the bots from time to time thats all :sad:

now i soo want ROTF devastator when he is released by Hasbro !! : droll ::

I too, would have liked to have seen Wheelie in some real action scenes. I wanted to know what he was really capable of. He did get abit clumsy with Mikaela, but I would have liked to have seen if he was capable of using any weaponry or fighting techniques. Especially around Jetfire who was like a hero to him. Probably wouldn't have lasted against one of the larger Decepticons but it would have been nice to see him still in the movie toward the end with Mikaela and Sam. Then again he is a Decepticon, maybe he was the reason Sam and Mikaela were being hunted down so quickly? Would you stick around if you knew the people you just betrayed were about to be stomped on? Deception is the name of the game... :CON:

If Wheelie would have went to the final battle he would have been step on by another 'bot or human. Remember, Mikaela kicked the crap out of him, what do you a large TF could do to him?

Thats true. His Alt mode is a remote control toy truck. Does he even have weaponry? Even if he could get in a few shots with a gun of some kind. He would have been crushed instantly by ravage or some larger Decepticon. But it still would have been pretty heroic and brave of him to try. But most likely Mikaela told him to stay behind and hide to protect himself from the danger ahead. I only wish they would have let us see him in the ending credits, re-appearing just to let us know if he was still going to be around Mikaela or go back serving the Decepticons.

were there any scenes at the end of the credits? i know that there were a couple of pointless scenes during the credits (like mikeala getting arcee), i thought that bay couldve at least thrown a few shots showing what happened to wheelie, and maybe show megs and starscream doin somethin that might lead to a 3rd movie, much like starscream flying off into space in the first film.

I didn't see anything during the roll of the credits. Do you mean just before the credits? Because I sat through them like most of the audience hoping we'd see something that would give us some clue of what to expect next. But no the title just appears with the music but no transformers or any portion of film.

That wasn't Arcee, that was the same red motorcycle Mikaela rode on near the beginning of the film, right after the kitchen bots attacked.

And no, there weren't any credits scenes after those two brief ones at the very start of the credits.

I did see her on a motorcycle at the end but it looked like her own bike. The one she's seen riding in the beginning of the movie when she goes over to Sam's house to see him off to college.

Skids and Mudflap vanish, too. After Mudflap unintensionally shoots Skids in the face, the constructicons retreat to wreck the pyramid and then Skids and Mudflap vanish, too.

It would have been cool to see a shot, like say after Sam & Prime finish talking, where you get to see Wheelie zip across the wide open deck of the carrier as the camera pulls back. Seeing Skids and Mudflap pushed OFF the carrier by 'Bee and Ironhide would have been funny as hell too. Hopefully Wheelie will return in TF3. Unlike his G1 namesake, I really enjoyed this little scraplet. I doubt he shares the same fate as Barricade. Barricade got buried under a city in the fill-in Novel spanning the gap between the two movies. He's down but they didn't completly write him out. Also in question is the fate of two-thirds of the Arcee team. They got shot but that doesn't mean they got scrapped. They did leave a lot of loose ends and unfortunately it will probably be up to Alan Dean Foster (who wrote the Movie novelizations, the prequel novel and the fill-in novel) to clean up the mess. He's done a fantastic job with the books and the whole Movie Universe so I would say wait til the next book for the answer about Wheelie.

I can't remember if it was before or after they walk in the door, but I'm pretty sure it's after, when they're all at the toll gate thing, and the oompa loompa guy comes to talk to them. Wheelie sticks his head out between the driver and passengers seat and says "tell him he's tall" when the guy's coming. That's the last thing I remember.
